Sep 19th 2011 10:00AM I think I betray my age and lack of geek cred when I admit that the only one I could recognize--without it being explicity pointed out--was Erin Gray. And that's more for Silver Spoons than Buck Rogers (though I did enjoy a few episodes of that as a kid).
Sep 6th 2011 11:15AM Get Chris Metzen to read the books. Then there would be good reason for everyone to sound like Chris Metzen.
Aug 4th 2011 2:26PM I'm worried she's going to puncture her throat by accident. That thing looks sharp!
Jul 19th 2011 9:26AM You had fun having a nearly essential part of the rotation potentially causing a wipe every time it was used?
Jul 14th 2011 10:30PM It appears the former writer of the column is still employed through AOL. Per his own website, "he works as a lead editor in AOL's Mediaglow group, writing for both The Unofficial Apple Weblog and Joystiq about Apple, technology, video games, and all sorts of interesting things."
If I were to venture a guess, it would be that no one bothered or was assigned to take up that mantle and they just let it go. Further, I would think the title is censored because they may have already gotten many questions asking what happened to it.
Jul 11th 2011 12:34AM Personally, I've been having a great time with stacking mastery in pvp in both BG and Arena situations. I convert my spirit over to mastery since mana generally isn't an issue (if it becomes one, then I'll rethink my setup). But being able to potentially absorb 40k is pretty great.
To give an idea of how this worked for me, I was repeatedly running around
Draenei Ruins in EotS keeping 3 or 4 alliance occupied while using Word of Glory, Holy Shock, Judgement, and Flash of Light on proc for heals with the occasional Holy Radiance. I would die before I ever lost mana, but I'd last as long as it took for them to get about 5 people on me.
Jun 27th 2011 3:40PM You also have to be careful not to create certain expectations. Soon enough people who have grown accustomed to easily soloing raid areas would be disappointed to learn they no longer can when Blizzard inevitably re-itemizes it for the next expansion.
Dec 15th 2010 8:33PM There's got to be a morning after, if we can hold on through the night.
Dec 10th 2010 6:53PM Happily, he's still there.
Dec 10th 2010 6:41PM Well, it is the music of a people who will not be slaves again.
