"Is there any whispers of buffing the flight path speeds?" '

I think he was talking about raising the speed of FPs, not our Epic Flight Speeds of 310% and 280%, respectively.

They best not, that's Ramen Noodle time

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Transitioning your role {WoW}

Dec 12th 2008 11:30PM I've been thinking the same exact thing Justin. I'm currently on hiatus from WoW due to some things in RL, but every time I look at the Arms tree, my mind just boggles at the amount of raid utility it brings to the table-- for example, how so many talent points play off each other to make you and your party/raid hit harder...
Taste For Blood>Improved Overpower>Impale>Deep Wounds>Trauma>Blood Frenzy>Wrecking Crew

I just see endless streams of crits honestly, just from slapping on a Rend...

It's not that I wasn't satisified, but... {WoW}

Nov 22nd 2008 12:35PM The issue is see is this- some people don't come to RP servers to role-play. Let me explain that one out...

In this world, some people have things called friends. These friends might be into role-playing. These friends might enjoy getting their friends involved in fun things they experience (such as WoW). These recruited friends might not even know what role-playing is (let alone how to or enjoy it).

However, the recruited friend got into WoW to play with their friend. Their friend plays on a RP server. It's too much to ask some people to server transfer after they've established in-game friends, etc-- and their new friends don't want to leave, seeing as their RL friend is there to help/guide them.

Although I agree people that disrupt RP sessions or create retarded names should probably be reported, Blizz is doing a favor by creating a place for all those RP players in the world to practice their hobby in-game on a number of servers-- instead of consolidating it all down into 5-10 select servers packed full of RPers.

Is Karazhan no longer for entry level raiders? {WoW}

May 18th 2008 5:33PM I found it interesting when I pugged out my healbot priest the other day. The raid leader told me a couple of bosses into Kara that he wanted to sub me out because I was still in a couple of greens... he ignored the fact that my stats were quite even with their mainhealer, but infact, i was out healing the main. People are finniky about Kara nowadays. If I miss a guildie run, I have trouble finding solid groups, eventhough I perform at a solid level and have full-cleared Kara with lesser groups.

Pet aggro an issue in 2.4? {WoW}

LoL. I now love you Pucelle.

Officers' Quarters: The road to mediocrity {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 12:35PM I tend to think about the problem this way:

If the guildie has a 70 or is already seemingly proficient on their main, I'll come right along and help them.

If they're new to the game or seem to not be that good, I'll run them once for a quest or just to help them want to level faster.

More than once however and they tend to not come back to the instance cause everything they want (gear/quests) are done.

We had a lock who our guild ran through everything in an attempt to just get to 70 asap. In his first heroic with us (in scattered quest reward blues and wellfare epics) he was fear-bombing anytime he got aggro or adds came into the group.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Yikes, don't do that! {WoW}

Mar 21st 2008 1:45PM I have to say, even though I've watched my share of crit-tastic warrior pvp videos, I know this is the upper-echelon (just like throwing 8k shadow bolts is for locks).

It just takes knowledge of the game and your class and then simple recognition of the situation your in.

Heck, my ms warrior's gear is about a level above terrible, yet, I seem to consistently find myself in the top 25% of kills and killing blows (out-doing s3 ms warriors). It's cause I know my limits and "read the opposition."

The skills/teamwork it takes to be great in arena can and should be applied to bg's and pve.

Priest DPS flowchart {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2008 7:23PM I have a priest, so I'm not just laughing at the class for the heck of it, but I just can't contain myself b/c of the simplicity of this chart... Face melting really is this mind-numbing-ly easy.

Maybe if there were flowcharts for other specs/classes, my laughing would cease...

Netherstorm summoning restriction to be removed {WoW}

Feb 4th 2008 1:37PM I'm pretty excitied about this. I'm quite awful about saving gold ingame, so I've been stuck with a normal riding mount at 70 on my warrior (sad I know). I'm glad to know that finally I can get attuned to Kara/run some different Heroics.
