Dec 8th 2010 11:35AM We also had members farming up tons of meat to stockpile feasts that would count toward 5000 feast cooking achievement. We had upwards of 3000 feasts saved up and ready to go.
Am I the only person who thought this was funny!
Mar 25th 2010 1:23PM It was interesting what you said about the 2 piece T9 set bonus as playing around with a spreadsheet I came to the same conclusion that the normal 4 piece T10 wasn't as good as 2 pieces of T10 and 2 pieces of T9.
Of course now I have the problem of what to spend my frosties on!
Nice article btw.
Mar 16th 2010 10:52AM If people think that HOR is hard they should have been around when MGT came out. It was probably the hardest 5 man Blizz ever brought out and would have made HOR look like a walk in the park.
Half the time people are QQing for harder instances but when they get one they QQ that it's too hard. Also in TBC there was no GS or LFG tool, people just pugged it, maybe they were better players then.
Jan 22nd 2010 5:50AM In my experience you discover that you have been hacked when you get an email from Blizzard giving you a life ban for unauthorised trading. You will not get the opportunity to recover your password.
Unfortunately items like Primordial Saronite and the Battered Hilt have lead to a massive increase in gold selling. I suspect that the over use of the addon Gearscore has also lead people to gear up as fast as possible with the new crafted items to pass that magical 5000 score, although it seems to creep up every week!
People who say they will never be hacked probably don't share a PC, if you have other family or friends using your PC all it takes is one of them to make a mistake.
I was hacked and bought an authenticator, I could find the logger despite using tons of software. In the end I found it using Kaspersky who Blizzard recomend.
I installed the authenticator on the Friday and my account was hacked again on the Monday (Asian hours). Blizz looked into it as I was obviously a suspect but after a few days gave me my stuff back.
I don't know how it could have been done but suspect the Asian servers had not updated the account for the authenticator over the weekend.
One thing I would suggest (having looked in the mailbox of the charactor the hacker created) is to give a life ban for anybody selling Roasted Quail for over a 1000 gold! Look on the AH and you will see your gold buyers!
Dec 14th 2009 8:08AM My PuG's have pretty much been a silent killing machine so far. Very little talk or even a ready check.
Dec 11th 2009 8:39AM Mixed so far. On the two daily randoms that I have done the groups were good and we did the timed OC achievment as one person needed it as his last achievment to get the mount. The other one was HOS where the lock said she had to go 3/4 of the way through but we just 4 manned it.
I did Forge of Souls as a chosen instance and that was not so good, there was an enchanter in the group. I know this because the DE button lights up! However they were keeping quiet and the group kept on greeding greens (and the epics) rather than DE. I tried to explain how it works now but they didn't respond, very silent group! The enchanter, whoever it was was not going to say a thing!
Dec 8th 2009 9:16AM Seeing if Blizz has returned the items to my hacked charactor :(
Oct 29th 2009 10:26AM Just a reminder to all the people complaining about this awsome new feature. You don't have to use it! Its not complusory!
Cross realm BG's have been a massive success and this will be also.
Oct 28th 2009 11:41AM First they came for the Beast Master Hunters - I did not speak out because I was not a Hunter..
