Apr 21st 2009 11:13AM Our GM has said he's not interested in dual-specs.
We're a mid to large size guild who regularly has 35+ online on raid nights and he likes to swap people about so everyone gets a chance at a boss. So it's not really fair on the guy who has been healing us for a couple of years and who is waiting outside the raid instance to have a go, to miss out because the dps guy who picked up dual-spec last week and can change rolls.
I guess when we are farming Ulduar things will change but at the moment it's "we recruited you for your roll so please stay that way."
Feb 12th 2009 1:16PM Didn't Blizzard say they wanted to release an expansion once a year? As good as WotLK has been there is not enough in it to keep me playing for another 18+ months, even with a couple of extra raids.
Jan 6th 2009 8:11AM Bank Chilled Meat when leveling - you will need it later.
Why oh why did I throw so much of the damn stuff away :(
Dec 6th 2008 6:39PM Is it possible to get the Icecrown quest acheivement without doing lots of 5 man quests? I seem to be stuck at around 119 quests done and can't find any more yellow exclamation marks - lots and lots of blue ones though.
Oct 30th 2008 8:04PM Anyone care to make a guess at how much this will cost Blizz? 5m players at 50 cents per day equals about $7.5m I reckon. Not a bad gift to the player base in these uncertain times.
Aug 11th 2008 6:28PM My guild has a bunnie head on a pink tabbard. There is no way I'd want to be seen wearing that outside the game. Inside the game I just say our gm has issues.
Jul 31st 2008 11:44PM There were 10 weeks between the announcement of BC's release date and the actual release iirc.
So a mid October release would require an announcement this week or next, which seems a bit soon - though I hope you are right.
Feb 13th 2008 9:10AM I'm left handed so use the cursor keys to move and the mouse to click - otherwise all those hotkeys are too far away.
Oct 15th 2007 9:06AM @6 - With a player population of 9m 5% is an awful lot of people. My guild runs two Kara groups and has just downed Prince, according to Bosskillers that gives us a world ranking in the 27,000 range. Now if every guild who'd downed Prince only had 10 players that would still be 270,000 people who had completed Kara and were looking to move on. If you are in a guild that has just downed Attuman (the first Kara boss) you're ranking would be in the 40k range, so it's not hard to say that there's maybe half a million people currently running Kara.
There's only 200 guilds in the world who taken down Illidan and completed Black Temple so it seems to me a good thing that Blizz are catering for the hundreds of thousands that may never get that far by giving us some new 10 man content to work at once we've all finished Kara.
