I think Etymologists would suggest that the two words "wail" and "whale" are interchangable and that the word "whale" was introducted in this context around 1800 :)

Oct 21st 2009 8:09PM Every kind of dodgy link that I have seen on the offical forums, or posted in an in-game mail, of in the applications that appear on our guild website from anonymous users, is resident on a Chinese IP address. And these links, if followed, generally install malicious code that compromise your machine and make it easy for someone to steal your account details, sell all your stuff and make real money from it.

It's not a stereo-type. It's a fact. The majority of these issues originate in China. I have proven it time and time again by researching the URL of the links and using domain and network registration tools to determine the origin of the web servers this links point back to.

Ban them all.....Ban all IP addresses based in China from connecting to a US or European server. That would be a damn good start.

Bornakk defends removing the drakes {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2009 8:30AM This is just another example of Blizzard moving the goal posts. Imagine someone doing this in a business, say for example this was your boss.

"Here's your target, and this is the reward for hitting the target. There is no specified time limit."

(3 months later)

"Oh sorry, forgot to mention, there actually IS a time limit and it's next week."

On which planet would you ever find this fair? Deadlines should be specified at the START of a task. Not the end.
