Oct 31st 2008 7:04PM If it's like the last Scourge invasion, it will end on your realm when your realm has won 250 battles. My server should reach that tonight. So, we'll see. Ask the Argent Dawn emissary how many battles your realm has won so far.
Don't forget that usually more than one necropolis spawns at the same time in the same zone. Last night in EPL, there were three necropoleis (not necropoli, btw*), each one with several battle sites under it.
*I thought you guys at WoW Insider figured this out already: http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/10/29/the-plural-of-necropolis/.
Oct 22nd 2008 3:55AM It was hearing about the largest gay-friendly player club/guild in all of gaming -- Stonewall Champions -- that got me interested in playing WoW in the first place. Both starting to play this game and joining Stonewall Champions are decisions I am happy I made.
IRL, I try to surround myself with people free of bigotry -- people, for example who know it's in bad taste to describe something lame as "gay" and people who would no more use the term "fag" than they would "nigger" because of its extreme offensive connotation. To a great degree (certainly greater than other WoW realms I've sampled), I find the sort of people I would hang out with IRL on the Proudmoore server, but especially so in my guild, Stonewall Champions. It's the reason I still play today.
Guilds like this and the players they attract are what will keep me playing in the future.
Oct 15th 2008 1:14PM I just love how people try to find ways to cheat the game. In the least, this is certainly not in the spirit of World of Warcraft, you have to admit. How pathetic!
Sep 22nd 2008 7:19PM Once a year is way too fast a rate. Once every two years seems just right. I'm more of a hardcore player than a casual one, but even I opine that if someone is going through all the content of an expansion in a year, then that person plays too much.
Apr 2nd 2008 6:36PM Please stop calling it MrT. That's so ridiculous. It's MgT. Everyone I know on three different servers agree: it's MgT. It just makes more sense because it "sounds" right when you look at it. MrT is silly. On our server, you get laughed at if you call it that. It's MgT, please!
Mar 29th 2008 2:37PM MrT? No way! People are calling it MgT, and that's much better, anyway.
Feb 2nd 2008 10:02PM I like Wowhead, but personally I much prefer Thottbot for the depth and breadth of user comments in their database. Like many user comments on many sWoW site or forums, much of the comments are either immature or ignorant, but I like how I can easily sift through the crap to find the good and useful comments highlighted in yellow (due to a user rating system).
