Apr 5th 2011 5:36PM I don't know if I'm alone in this, but prior to Cataclysm, I hated Arenas. Everything was far too fast paced, and the whole 2 GCD burst thing really turned me off to it. However, now that things have slowed down, I really appreciate the arena for more tactical thinking.
I was really looking forward to rated battlegrounds, but when I finally got a chance to actually play in them (you *have* to have at least 10 people? I had a hard enough time even getting into a team of 5 for arenas, and they played a grand total of 1 week) it was a complete disaster. We kept getting paired with players who were totally out of our league, and it was entirely demoralizing. I can understand 5 close games and losing them all. That means we need to work on our comp/teamwork. But 5 games that resulted in graveyard camping before the flags even came back after the first cap? There was absolutely nothing we could do.
Anyway, before I get too carried away and off topic, if making arenas more like rated battlegrounds results in the broken system RBGs have now, please please please please Blizzard...NEVER do it.

Jun 3rd 2010 6:44PM My problem with Naxx is mostly hindsight at this point. The rehashing of Naxx was awesome at first, but now it can be seen as indicative of just how much they were ignoring Wrath in favor of Cataclysm's overhaul. The raid content this expansion has been visually lazy. Save for ICC and Ulduar, we received two full tiers of nothing but rehashes or single room encounters. Compare that with what we got in Vanilla or BC, in which every tier raid was massive (even the smaller ones, which frankly had more going on visually than what we have now) places filled to the brim with activity, save for Hyjal, which at least hadn't been officially released up until that point.
Now I can wait with bated breath if they're rehash Sunwell for us, since that was just as inaccessible as Naxx was, but was arguably a better raid instance. Cataclysm had better be amazing with what they cut from Wrath.

You have to manually opt out and turn off a lot of settings to prevent this from happening.
Feb 16th 2010 2:25PM "Seriously though , fifth amendment " Freedom of speech ""
Really? You go running to the Bill of Rights, and then pull out the wrong amendment? I hope you don't exercise your 7th amendment rights and bear arms.
Feb 12th 2010 10:34PM UDE has been doing pretty poorly lately. They lost the license to the YuGiOh game, and then got slammed for counterfeiting the cards. They're on their way out. I just hope the switch doesn't kill the community it currently has.
