Oct 13th 2008 4:35PM Wow the new rogue article writer is so much better than the last guy.
Ghostcrawler just said they are going to fix combat shiv, though probably not in a way that anyone is going to enjoy:
Aug 18th 2008 8:24AM How am I supposed to do this? It's so small I can't read the numbers in the crossword.
Jul 31st 2008 4:18PM Great, the new rogue columnist uses Shiv for damage. Nice job, WOW Insider.
Jason Harper, please don't use Shiv for any reason other than applying a poison to the target or getting combo points on a difficult target (rogue with evasion up or prot warrior). Seriously. The damage per energy compared to hemorrhage is laughably, and extremely obviously, bad. This makes you look like a complete newbie to rogues.
Jul 31st 2008 3:47PM now its back, how do i delete posts =\
Jul 31st 2008 3:45PM Huh, the post I was responding to disappeared. He was asking about what it would be like to do 70 content at level 80
Jul 31st 2008 3:44PM It will be.. uh.. extremely easy to do the 70 content at 80? I mean, level 60 raids have been soloed.
Jul 24th 2008 9:36AM This took 35 hours of work? This is a piece of crap
Mar 30th 2008 9:46PM Do a google search for Wowaceupdater. It's amazing and will fix all your problems in about 5 minutes if you use mostly ace mods.
Also, MoveAnything seems to have completely broken in 2.4. Is there a good replacement to move the default blizzard ui elements (particularly PVP objectives) anywhere I want?
Mar 27th 2008 4:17PM The problem is that there's basically no difference between the keen master of all things Hunter and the autoshot afker, in pve anyway. Your most effective mode of DPS can be reduced to a spammable macro. I'm not saying any other class has particularly challenging dps either
Nov 17th 2007 5:04PM While the new Honored requirement is nice because I'm on a very small server and it was difficult to find many other people with Revered to do heroics, it also highly increases the chances for failure. If I get into a group and someone says "Summon me, I have to go buy the key," it's a pretty good sign that we're not going to do well. I was doing Ramparts the other day for the daily quest - our tank got obliterated on the first pull, and then got huffy and blamed the healer (before I left I checked and he was a feral druid in mediocre healing gear) when we told him to leave.
The sad part is that all these people were from my guild. It's hard to say in /g "Need tank and dps for a heroic" and then having to tell people they can't come because their gear sucks. Previously if you were Revered with something you had a good chance of having adequate gear. This system is a lot more accessible but has a lot more potential to waste everyone's time.
