Ghostcrawler: "We still are not convinced that Warrior tanks are operating at some huge deficit" {WoW}

Feb 17th 2009 2:13PM After years and years of warriors saying they are the only tanks and everyone else is just useful for gimmick fights (if at all), who cares if they are lower for once? I really don't, especially after nearly every prot warrior I knew went dps in TBC but still wanted prot gear because they were warriors.

Tuesday Morning Post: Patch 3.0.8 roulette {WoW}

Dec 16th 2008 2:20PM What about finally making pallys equal to all the other tanking classes and getting a single target taunt which means we can FINALLY do 4 Horsemen without huge difficulty? That is a huge giant leap forward for us.

Jewelcrafting's flawed design {WoW}

Dec 10th 2008 9:38PM OMG you can't learn everything right away AND have a reason to continue messing with your profession? I'm an engineer, we got one nice trinket and a helm. Oh yeah and the motorcycle. I would LOVE something like this to get more engineering recipes. I enjoy the daily cooking quest that works pretty much the same way.

Lichborne: A Death Knight statistics primer, part II {WoW}

Dec 9th 2008 5:16PM Hitting defense cap does cost you stamina and strength. But no matter how much more health you may have, taking 2x more damage from a swing instantly gets rid of that little cushion of health you may receive. Really with the enchants and gems now it doesn't take too much to hit defense cap. I hit it on my second day as 80.

Breakfast Topic: Don't you mean the *healer* shortage? {WoW}

Dec 9th 2008 4:57PM I'm sure I'm in the minority here. The thing we are having any trouble filling guild run wise is DPS. It's all that's stopping us from moving from 2 groups of 10 to a full 25 man. Our healers and tanks hit 80 pretty fast though.

Lichborne: A Death Knight statistics primer, part II {WoW}

Dec 7th 2008 1:59PM If you're wanting to tank your first obligation is to get to 540 defense and then staying there. Everything else is secondary. Doesn't matter how much health you have, if you are going to take 2x as much damage from swings, it will just disappear.

Breakfast Topic: The tanking shortage {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2008 12:20PM I don't know what's going on with PUG groups, mostly as the last time I PUGed anything since I did Kara for the first time. My guild has more then enough tanks and healers at 80 currently. Actually what we are short of comparatively is DPS oddly enough. It's not that more tanks and healers exist then before hand, just they are the ones who hit 80. Don't have a single tanking DK yet, all are reformed DPS who now, DPS.

Personally I still stand that there is no tanking shortage per se. Just people not wanting to tank for PUGs, I know personally I refuse to PUG at all and will simply not do an instance instead of dealing with a PUG as a tank.

Felicia Day's "The Guild" signs exclusive deal with Microsoft {WoW}

Nov 24th 2008 1:04PM Congrats to them making money on their own little do it yourself show. If you're complaining that they are selling out, let's look at the facts on how it affects you.

Do you now have to pay for it? NO

Does going to a different website (until it's eventually put on YouTube anyway) and harder then going to the other site? NO

Could this "exclusive" web shows lead to NEW FREE content like Dr. Horrible and other great well put together shows? Maybe

Yeah no reason to complain. If the Guild became a new show on say CBS would you complain too for selling out or be happy having longer episodes?

Breakfast Topic: What is your favorite part of Wrath? {WoW}

Nov 18th 2008 2:51PM Wrathgate. Really all of Dragonblight from the Taunka to Wrathgate is just amazing, epic and fun.
