UPDATED: Brew of the Year removed from Brewmaster achievement on PTR {WoW}

Mar 6th 2009 4:36PM no, it's on the PTR meaning that it *may* make it on to live servers (and I'm sure is likely to make it live). Anything done on PTR's stays there, it doesn't transfer over to any live realms. the test realm is just for testing ^_^

Oracles or the Frenzyheart, which did you choose? {WoW}

Jan 8th 2009 11:33AM Yep! you have to choose. You follow the oracle questline through till it forces a flip to the puppy men. You do some quests for them and then it leads you to a cave where you have to fight a lich, an oracle guy and a frenzyheart guy. Kill the oracle to side with frenzyheart or kill the pup to side with the oracles. If you make a mistake you can do it again, which is nice. for me, I'm a holy pally so went frenzyheart for the gear. I switched once i hit exalted and just got to revered this morning with the oracles ^_^

The Queue: Plate, plate and more plate {WoW}

Dec 29th 2008 8:37PM that's true, you wont need much healing while leveling so if most of your time is spent questing then ret is probably the way to go.

My boyfriend and I leveled two pallies, a prot and holy and instead of questing we two-manned instances. It was a blast doing it and we leveled pretty quickly. We were able to do that up to the outlands, at which point it was easier to quest. but I say give an instance a try just the two of you...its a great time and really hones your respective skills since you can't rely on anyone else to save you ^_^

Zombie incubation time halved to five minutes {WoW}

Oct 25th 2008 2:19AM I was thinking the death knights could be the fallen from this most current plague, but of course that's just my own little theory. I don't know if any of the death knight starting area quests support the idea that you have recently converted to Arthas' side....hmmm....

Zombies in Azeroth: A night of terror {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 12:07PM MisterMoose,

you can talk to the other faction, and I believe trade with them. but you cannot group with them.

You can be in a group with those who haven't turned.

I don't know about the dueling, but I would assume you could since I've heard people saying that's how they are infecting their friends.

Oct 23rd 2008 2:11AM Just confirmed that you can talk across factions in [zombie]. had a nice chat with an orc hunter who asked me to buy him a white kitten =D

Player-created hairstyles look pretty snazzy {WoW}

Sep 19th 2008 12:53AM It sounds like you've been burned by a women using her body to get fat lootz. I'm sorry...I was misguided in thinking you were upset because of some implied objectification of women. Now I see it's because of an entirely different reason.

Most women who play this game play it fair and don't use their assets to get what they want. If you came across one (and it sounds like you've had your fair share) take solace in the fact that we aren't all like that and that also most men in the game are quite fair and think with their brains. Don't let a few degenerates speak for the majority.

Sep 19th 2008 12:46AM Corey,

As a women, I've got to say the White Knight-esque complaint you are waging here is more sexist than you realize.

Women, virtual or real, are attractive to most men. This is a good thing. Finding a woman attractive is not "worship", it's natural.

I'm all for the end of sexism, but you are taking a stand where one does not need to be. You are seeing smoke where there is no fire. If you are truly concerned about it, go fight for the end of sexism where it is actually being waged...But just a word of caution: acting like a champion for woman's rights by making us feel like we need to be protected from the big, bad men out there 'worshiping' us is not the way to endear yourself to any woman concerned with true sexism (or man for that matter).

Sep 18th 2008 10:21PM Everything points to the creator of these hairstyles being female...notice the prolific use of the pronoun 'she' in both this article and the Resto4life.

I would take a wild guess and say the lack of cover up is due to the fact that it was done in a model maker and adding armor is an unnecessary step.

Lighten up there a little bit Corey, it's not a big deal ^_^

Hands-on with Inscription in the Wrath Beta {WoW}
