Make a costume, win a trip to BlizzCon from the EU {WoW}

May 14th 2009 9:14AM And, yet again, Portugal is left out of the contests, we're in a little country but the WoW community is big... wtb laws that allow us to be in Blizzard contests, pst with offer :P

Give Bloodlust to Rogues {WoW}

May 5th 2009 6:52PM If Rogues should receive a bonus in the form of a buff, definitly Bloodlust/Heroism is not the one. That buff is, like many mencioned, a buff of inspiration that fits the Shaman class... Rogues are not that inspirational in a lore point of view.

I think Rogues should borrow some buffs from the good ol' Thief class from another RPG's, like

1)A buff to currency gained in group/raid loot, something like +10% gold and an extra badge or two.

2)A buff that increases slightly the drop chance of loot equippable to that buffed character. Take for example a rogue buffing a mage because the boss doesn't drop anything that the group wants except that nifty wand the mage wants. The buff would increase the drop chance of cloth items, staffs, wands, daggers and 1h swords. In a raid situation, that buff would help a lot of people with the same gear proficiency.

Sunday Morning Funnies: They did it with a shirt {WoW}

May 3rd 2009 3:57PM I know, I know, I have nothing against Woody, in fact GU Comic it's one of my favorite webcomics, I always get a good chuckle out of it. And I know gnomes are a typical comic relief in every RPG out there, heck if it wasn't the case I wouldn't roll a gnome ;)

It's just that particular comic got into my nerves, nothing else :P

Sunday Morning Funnies: They did it with a shirt {WoW}

May 3rd 2009 1:44PM Sorry, but I think YOU should get the facts straight. I think people (including me) find the gnome joke (NOT the one on the guest strip, that was really funny, I think we all are referring the one Woody MADE on friday) incredibly untasteful. Just because Karatechop is a gnome, the author came up with a cheap joke making fun of gnome characters players (and you guessed, my main is a gnome mage). I love GU comics, but that particular strip is shameful of his part.

Martin Fury: What would you have done? {WoW}

May 1st 2009 2:20PM I won't lie: I would use it, but i would open a ticket first. It's just too unresistable to have such power in your hands and not use it. Yes, is immoral, but its SO shiny!!!

Probably would use it in a critter to see if the item worked, then I would keep it for defensive/useful situations, like avoiding being gaked in my alts by a 1337Z00R lvl 80 douchebag or being squashed by the (insert wandering elite pain-in-the-asz mob name here), and of course doing those pesky group quests that nobody else wants to do.

Blizz may not do previews for patch 3.2 {WoW}

Apr 17th 2009 1:22PM "If I was Blizzard there would be no PTR for the next patch or instance. Let's see the Euros clear an instance they have never seen in one day."

That would be such a bad move by Blizzard. PTR's serve to test, tweak and debug things on the new patch to avoid major bug chaos in live server when the patch hits. Of course it will be a godsend help to top-notch guilds to clear content. It's really a double edged sword, or you'll have people complaining about the bugs, or you'll have people complaining about the briefly cleared content.

I would say Blizzard should make the next raid's final boss mathematicly impossible to beat (like C'thun pre-nerf) to avoid "QQ (insert guild name) cleared (insert boss name) in less than 24 hours, it's too easy!"... then hit an hotfix with the excuse of "ooopsie, the intern hitted the wrong button!"

Forum Post of the Day: Chatroom of the Scourge {WoW}

Mar 26th 2009 7:28AM "[Killzone'jaeden]: I didn't spend seven aeons feasting on the souls of the righteous just so I could play typing games with the functionally illiterate."

So funny, yet so true in my case... except the soul feasting thingy...

Two Bosses Enter: Gal'darah vs. Krystallus {WoW}

Two Bosses Enter: Gal'darah vs. Krystallus {WoW}

Feb 26th 2009 2:35PM People who are saying that Shatter would make Krystallus the winner are forgetting something: it only damages when there are other allies in a close range. Gal'darah is alone, so Shatter only stops him for a few seconds, seconds that he can recover damage-wise with Impale (yes, Krystallus is a friggin' rock, but with a very sharp spear it's possible ^^) .

I think that Gal'darah wins this round: he has a counter move for Shatter and Ground Slam (Impale), and has a knock back provided by the spirit rhinos and some nasty attacks that Krystallus can't deliver back.
