Aug 15th 2011 10:08PM I play Wizard 101 for the turn-based strategy aspects, unique in MMOGs today.
May 23rd 2011 3:47PM Yes, how dare a customer expect that the computer they paid apple a few grand for three years ago be able to sync with an apple product! After all, it's not like apple was on a huge advertising blitz about how their supremely user-friendly products always worked or anything. Wait, what? Oh. Um.
Well, okay, maybe apple WAS on a huge advertizing blitz about how their computers 'just worked', but it's surely the customer's responsibility to keep tabs on the current state of the OS. After all, the Snow Leopard upgrade is guaranteed to work just fine, because it's not like apple shipped 10.4 computers with 512 megs of RAM in a day when windows machines were commonly shipping with a gig or more. Wait, what? Oh. Oh.
And saying that microsoft doesn't support XP SP2 is disingenuous, because they do support XP SP3 to this day, and that upgrade is free. So they're still supporting an 11-year-old OS, while apple bailed on their customers before 10.4 turned five.
Jan 3rd 2010 2:07AM Sure, let's do this!
Nov 28th 2009 6:13PM 'Close friends' aren't busy doing their best to hide all of their correspondence from their spouses.
Nov 28th 2009 5:53PM Problem the first: Husband's a dirty liar. Given that he's apparently lied to Brokenhearted's face repeatedly about this woman, no half-measures are going to work here. Move to another server? No, it's absurdly easy for him to let woman #2 know where they're going so she can make an alt there. Same for kicking her out of the guild. That's not going to solve anything, because it in no way hampers his getting in touch with her.
The core problem of this guy treating his wife like garbage is what needs to be amended, not inconsequentials like this other woman being in their guild.
On the other hand, this other woman is equally complicit in deceiving Brokenhearted and being telephone cuddle-buddies with her husband, and if there isn't a better reason to kick someone out of your guild, I'm not sure what it could be.
Nov 23rd 2009 11:42AM Hurrah for free guild shirts!
Nov 23rd 2009 11:39AM Definitely want!
Mar 25th 2009 5:08PM This may just be grass is greener syndrome, but mages have always seemed to have it super-easy to me, as a player who deals primarily in melee damage. Most raid encounters seem to be 'Okay, ranged DPS just stand back and do whatever. Melee DPS, you will have to recite the lyrics to every Iron Maiden song while kiting in a counter-counter-clockwise fashion through the seven portals of testicular agony. Remember, when you're in the chasm of eternal suffering you'll have seventeen different debuffs on you, so stay precisely 5 yards away from each other, but not the tank. If you deviate from being 8.7 yards away from the tank, or get any of the Iron Maiden lyrics wrong, you'll wipe the raid. Have fun!'
...This may have made me a bit bitter.
Feb 12th 2009 1:03PM Oh good, so we get to go from Blizzard releasing games when they're polished to releasing games when Activision needs money. This can only end well.
Aug 16th 2007 4:23PM System Shock 2 is my favoritest game EVAR, and I am going to bring the glory of the Many to YOU, if you don't gimme Bioshock! (Er, that's a threat; the glory of the Many is a bad thing.)
