May 14th 2009 8:27AM I don't give two cents for an addiction with no physical abstinences after you stop. It doesn't have much to do with self-control either because self-control is born out of the lust you have for something.
It's when you don't really want good grades you stop doing your homework, and it's when you don't really like your social situation you start prefering your online one. People who do either should really take their lives up to review because they're heading in a direction they don't want to take.
I knew a guy who dropped out of several majors and blamed it on world of warcraft, he talked about addiction and he honestly did nothing but play day and night for an entire year. Then he started a new major, Biology, and started playing less and less until he eventually stopped. Not because he wanted to stop playing but because his new major, and the likeminded people, were just more exciting.
May 13th 2009 6:17PM I think half my guild has a DK with some sort of tradeskill on it because it was so easy to level it compared to a normal alt.
Least played class in our guild though, we're even bringing one who's completely undergeared because we need it more than his fury warrior. Heh.
May 6th 2009 9:22PM I play on two servers, one is a pvp server and the other is a pve server.
On the pvp server almost every pug I encounter is extremely elitist about things like achievements, classes and stats I mean to the point where pugging has become much more hardcore than being in a raid guild and following the raid schedule. :p On the pve server on the other hand I don't think I've ever been asked to link an achievement.
Ironically the pugs seem to go a lot better on the pve server.
May 4th 2009 9:59AM Is a fury warrior at my dorm who raids uludar and is usually only ever beaten by their hunter. Their main tanks are all protection warriors except for one paladin.
So that doesn't make a lot of sense unless you're talking about pvp.
Apr 20th 2009 4:13PM What makes you think Blizzard deserves more than an F? Looking in from the outside they ban people for things like cheating but they never actually provide any evidence because we've all signed away those rights when we created our accounts.
Obviously I don't personally think Blizzard is banning innocent people because I wouldn't be paying them money if I did, but you have to look at it from BBBs point of view (whom Blizzard likely doesn't respond to either. So what BBB have is a ton of complaints they can't possibly verify as truthful because Blizzard doesn't have any interest in to co-operating with them.
Naturally that leads to a negative rating.

Dec 12th 2008 9:38AM Yet despite all the improvements wowinsider is so full of whine these days it's making me consider removing it from my bookmarks.
Nov 12th 2008 11:10AM This is a blog and obvliously we can't expect much from such a thing, but why on earth are you trying to portray your own personal opinion as something tons of peopel agree with? Apparently you don't think your own argument and opinion is strong enough to hold up on it's own without being backed up by the agreement of others, but if that's the case then why on earth did you write this blog entry in the first pace?
It really saddens me to see such posts on wow-insider because the only thing they're good for is driving even more people away.
Tauren catform rocks, so go cry in silence next time please.
Nov 10th 2008 11:05AM Poul Chapel I'm not sure what kind of salvation you think it is that Apple offers, but I've been using Macs for the better part of a decade now and I can tell you that it surely isn't there. It's a nice system if you like technology to work right out of the box, but as soon as you need any sort of performance, customization or the likes you'll soon find yourself shit out of luck because Apple doesn't really sell that.
It's really very obscoure to see people talk about Apple as though it's more than just a company out to make money, because the only reason anyone would think so is because of Apple's marketing and I'd frankly like to think people aren't that stupid.
Oct 2nd 2008 10:19AM I probably should've said "the leading players within our community" instead of "the leaders of our community" since that was what I ment.
Good thing I proofread that in time, yeah, sorry. :(
