Much like with an iPhone, turning a super-expensive device capable of doing just about anything into a flashlight seems appropriate to me.
Apr 27th 2010 1:45AM The cap is so people can still get *some* Valor points from old raids if they choose to run them, without feeling obligated to run all of them like with Badges of Heroism in TBC.
Apr 17th 2010 7:24PM The problem is that Ebert looks at games as competitions comprising of rules, winners, and losers, while the idea of "game" has moved beyond that and toward crafted experiences that aren't necessarily competitive at all.
That's why he brings up Bobby Fisher, Michael Jordan, and Dick Butkus at the end--they're all atheletes. Maybe he should talk to Curt Schilling.
Apr 13th 2010 12:12AM Even if this *is* accurate, it's still not necessarily proof of a Verizon iPhone. If Apple is making a CDMA handset for use globally, they'd have to test it on *some* CDMA network in the US, and if you're an Apple hardware developer with an unlocked CDMA iPhone test unit, why would you put it on Sprint?
Mar 9th 2010 10:01PM Making the racial abilities equivalent across factions, as Kennethbrown suggested, seems like a good start.
A good second step might be including the "useful" racials as glyphs available through the Path of the Ancients system. It wouldn't stop min-maxers from doing race-changes, but it would certainly close the gap.
