Mar 31st 2012 12:33PM With the pet trading/training system do we have any indication that we will be able to have duplicate pets? Could I potentially have an all Mr. Withers pet team?

Breakfast Topic: Should PVP and PVE gear be so different from each other? {WoW}

Nov 9th 2011 8:56AM

With the honor to justice and vice versa conversions the idea that you have to earn your pvp gear in actual pvp is long gone and of course the reverse is true. This will only get worse with the current plan for scenarios and quests to award justice pts. (It's already as bad as it can get with pvp as people can just zone into TB troll for 30 minutes in a loss and come out with nearly as many points then if they had queued for a dungeon)

First I would get rid of those conversions.

Next I would dispose of resilience as an itemized gear stat altogether and have it as a bonus to all gear that was related to ilevel of the gear. If the time to reward ratio is the same in pvp and pve then people would be able to only have one set of gear and stay relevant to at least the last tier of content if not the current one.

This would allow for tier set bonuses and weapons to be the area where the min/maxers on both sides of the game got their edge and potentially end the abuses to the current system.

If you wanted the pvp set bonuses you would have to pvp and the same would be true to pve. But if you wanted to try your hand at one side or the other you would not have to grind a whole new set of gear to get started.

Sep 10th 2011 1:01PM How many of WoW's lost subscribers do you believe are a result of the crackdown on gold farming? Obviously those farmers were players so less of them means less players.

Shifting Perspectives: On the matter of Moonkin Form {WoW}

Aug 26th 2011 5:33PM I could go on for days about how much I hate the moonkin form but to me it needs to be optional mostly for one reason and it is pvp.

If it is a druid and it is not shapeshifted it is definitely a healer. That puts druid healers at a big disadvantage in pvp.

Also Blizzards main excuse for doing away with the resto tree form was that they wanted to show off Druid armor ... how does that same reasoning not apply to Balance?

I would like to see all the forms become more like the Worgen model. We stay in humanoid form until some action or combat forces us into animal form with some minor glyphs to customize that.

Does the Rise of the Zandalari dungeon tier serve a purpose? {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2011 1:56PM If nothing else they could remove the VP cap from the regular heroics. That would give players the choice of how they want to get to weekly VP Cap. If it takes two regular to get as many points as one troll so be it. This could have cascading benefits as people trying to get geared through valor pts would not feel pressured into trolls and getting into them by equipping pvp gear, and tanks bored senseless of trolls would be doing more instances a week and be more available.

Aug 6th 2011 12:36PM Question for the Q spawned by the fact that my highest level horde is only 30.

When doing the Leyara quests in Molten core, she specifically mentions Malfurion failing to stop the horde as her reason for going over to Fandrels side.

My question is what is the horde equivalent on this quest line or do they just get different reasons

As a followup are there horde druids of the flame? And I cannot remember another time where living Night Elves were hostile mobs to alliance players.

Jul 29th 2011 11:37AM What happened to the make scribes less Book of Glyph Mastery dependent? I tried to to make new glyphs the first couple of days after the patch with no luck, then I read the patch notes and noticed no mention of it.

WoW Rookie: How to win Tol Barad {WoW}

Mar 31st 2011 2:31PM Overall excellent. With one big flaw. When trying to hold a base while on offense 2-3 defenders is not nearly enough. The bg is up to 80 per side so number of defenders should be based on size of the fight. For a one raid ( forty people per side) fight I find it takes 5-7 to hold a base long enough for help to arrive.

What WoW mobile app would you like to see next? {WoW}

Feb 24th 2011 12:17AM A fishing app, blizzard has looked for a way to improve fishing forever the best way for me would be able to let me do it while I am in line at the bank or on my lunch break at work. fishing is basically an extremely low risk time investment give me a way to fish and have those fish wind up in my in game mailbox.
