Nov 14th 2008 11:26AM Bastards! I'm still level 70. Got it at midnight but had school (college) the next day including a test and homework...did three instance runs last night, still at 70. All mail and leather dropped in an all caster/plate group.
Jul 19th 2008 2:03PM Definitely looks like more buffs than nerfs to me. Abilities are being changed around a little bit, but what's the big deal losing some points in spell damage or crit % when you're probably going to be picking up gear at level 80 with +150 spell damage or 80 crit rating? I'm definitely going to be leveling up my low level lock alt. I was afraid that locks would be getting some serious beatings from the nerf stick, but this doesn't look half bad.
Feb 26th 2008 1:17PM Nerfed drain life, fear, and now nerfed lifetap are making locks less of a super PVP powerhouse and more of a squishy class (which they are). I for one welcome the changes. Blizzard themselves have said that Warlocks are overpowered in 1v1, but they don't care because the game itself isn't just about 1v1 fights. However, a lot of PVP is 1v1 (taking flags, arena when your partners have died) and I couldn't be happier with the changes. NERF LOCKS!
Jan 16th 2008 11:55AM It wasn't a person, it was a bot. It would have continued on with its sales pitch even if you had said no. It is the shotgun approach to marketing: spam everyone and eventually you will hit someone who plays WoW (there are over 8 million of us now right?). A few of those people will actually bite and buy some gold or items. This encourages their behavior. Ever wonder why you get so much spam email?
It turns out that people actually click on spam links and they buy stuff! I saw some crazy statistic one time about how 10-20% of people who are spammed bought something linked in a spam message or email.
