Apr 8th 2011 11:10AM @theflyingbuddha Robin and Lisa should probably trade answering order every other week. If Lisa is still "bad-cop" while Robin plays "good-cop" even when Lisa response first, then we know parroting answers is not the concern.
Mar 18th 2011 3:10PM If instant gratification is the cause, then wouldn't slowing down gold transfers help?
- Eliminate face-to-face gold transfers (only send via mail). Or cap the amount one can transfer daily.
- Delay large money transfers via mail based on the size of the transfer (e.g. add 24 hours per 2000g). High level guilds (through G-mail perk) allow faster mail with higher guild rep.
- Cap the buyout and bidding price for AH items by 100x vendor price for gray and white items, 1000x vendor price for green and blue items, 10000x vendor price for epics+. This is to avoid using vendor trash in the AH as alternate currency. Whether this is fair
All these would have the effect of slowing down money transfers. Since hackers usually try to transfer the money to an alt for "gold laundering," this would hit them too. How this would affect the economy is less known.
Jan 13th 2011 11:31AM Y'know, I'm gonna break from the B5 assumption. I'm thinking Midnight Madness. With the guy from American Werewolf in London. I mainly recall two things:
1) the scene where Stephen Furst (as the bad guy team leader) breaks his computer after hiding his secret marshmallow snacks inside the chassis.
2) "the Bonaventure Hotel!"

Oct 5th 2009 2:45PM You can get 350 tokens back after doing the Dalaran /dance by selling back your Brewfest clothing to the vendor within the two hour purchase-to-return window.
Aug 24th 2009 4:24PM Maybe you don't realize it, but that's a T-shirt for Keyboard Cat...
Jul 22nd 2009 11:44AM The software tokens usually require more than just the auto-generated passcode number. They usually require an additional 4 digit password plus the passcode.
Since that's a different system, I doubt Blizzard wants to deal with needing to maintain a parallel implementation just to support folks that don't want to carry an authenticator.
Apr 17th 2009 1:36PM Does anyone honestly think Blizz is going to eliminate a tremendous resource of free beta testing just to spite forum posters? Please...
If they actually followed through with the threat, the amount of problems they'd find when an imbalanced 3.2 patch is released would cause more problems to a larger population than the small minority that are forum posters.
The amount of work hotfixing an undertested 3.2 should disavow Blizz of releasing a PTR-less patch.
It's just GC pulling a Tseric. Nothing to see here...
Feb 13th 2009 10:39AM @steve and @bill,
So what can I say to those locks that have access to mage food and lifetap to low health and full mana when out of combat?
