Breakfast Topic: What class mechanics have you had to learn to deal with? {WoW}

Dec 22nd 2009 11:15AM One other thing I would like to point out is when people start posting "heal me" in party chat during an encounter. It's not like I'm not going to heal you, I will, but perhaps something else came up at the moment that requires my attention (e.g DPS pulling aggro). All I do is look at little green bars, relax, I will get to you. But if you keep typing "heal me", you will annoy me and I will let you die.

Dec 22nd 2009 11:00AM As a healer, I find it quite frustrating when the DPS pulls threat from the tank. For example, last night I was in a FoS group where the Warlock was pulling more threat than the tank-on EVERY pull-and would not use Soulshatter. This heavily impacted my role as healer as I would have to pop Hand of Salvation on the Warlock whenever it was available, which would momentarily distract me from healing the party. It was only regular FoS, so we just dealt with it and fortunately the Warlock dropped group at the end of the instance. As stated in the article, it really aggravates me when a Hunter won't use Feign Death, or as I have had happen on more than one occasion, they ask me to res their pet.

Slightly off-topic but related to cross-realm PUGs: players that won't bandage themselves or eat/drink between pulls. Do people not realize that using First Aid or eating/drinking only makes my job a little easier? Most of the time it's not a huge problem, but when I'm busy dispelling debuffs on the tank, please in the name of the Light, bandage yourself or pop a potion.
