Oct 3rd 2007 2:24PM His ideas on attendance ratio modifying DKP reward attendance would cause more drama and grief since DKP already provides an incentive to attend. And it would punish, unfairly those who were bumped or can not attend regularly. People who attend get more DKP than those who don't. Someone who's annoyed that a more casual person is getting an item is just being selfish.
Sep 18th 2007 3:33PM For me the draw of a dps class like mages is that you're not dependent on a group to kill things. Playing a prot war or healer type means you need a group to quest, grind, or pvp efficiently. I hate that.
Sep 5th 2007 2:38PM I doubt it will be a requirement to equip it because what if you decided you were done with the Arena and quit? I'd say it was just to purchase it, like how you had to have a certain rank to buy the old pvp items. (they never had a rank requirement to equip items)
What they need to do though, is to make sure people can't just sell a spot on a >1900 team just to purchase weapons.
Sep 1st 2007 10:39PM I use these all the time

/cast [nopet] Summon Water Elemental

/cast [nocombat] Arcane Explosion(Rank 1); Arcane Explosion
May 10th 2007 5:56PM We just had a first-hand example of this. Our erstwhile guild-leader recently decided that he had to dissolve a long standing raiding alliance, reorganize Kara raiding teams, and gkick a player for what he termed selfish behavior. All without discussing it with officers or the guild.
To compound the issue, this guild-leader recently, and sulkily, left the officers in de-facto leadership while he played another server (he didn't leave entirely but that was the gist of his post). The reason for his abdicating leadership? People in the guild and raiding alliance didn't want to raid and complete Naxx, his own personal goal.
The result? A mass exodus and reforming of a new guild. The loss of a 2yr old tight-knit guild.
A guild dictatorship is fine as long as the guild interests=guild leader interests.
May 1st 2007 3:50PM I love sheeps, er in a purely platonic CC way, as a mage. But I will say that use off CC tends to slow an instance down with marking and what not. I'd rather just burn through one as quickly as possible.
Apr 17th 2007 5:45PM Full spell power and frost shards gives you a 225% boost for a crit, not 250%.
I would drop frostbite, imp FN, and shatter if you were going to do a lot of raiding. Piercing ice and frost channelling are much better on raids.
Apr 2nd 2007 6:57PM You don't understand the nature of the problem #5, if you knew that they were doing yes you could stand there and spam attacks and when they reconnected bam they are dead. But you can't tell until error messages come back like out of range or target is not in front etc. That gives your opponent a few seconds of precious time, uninterrupted to heal or whatever.
Another use is to act like you ran off the edge of the platform in the Blades Arena or off a tower or someother elevated surface. You follow them but then you realize, nope, they didn't run off. They gain an immediate and lame advantage.
Jan 31st 2007 7:06PM I used Drathal's HUD, the continued version and Natur Enemycastbar and just move the cast bar to where I want it to show up. I like the fact that it's very customizable. You can change the size and position of the text, colors, and what gets displayed as the target, target's target etc.
