May 1st 2008 11:38AM You must kill a wolf.
Now kill seven more damn wolves.
Then kill ten spiders.

Breakfast Topic: Do we need a third faction? {WoW}

Apr 24th 2008 11:36AM I mostly agree, but I'd change that to start out neutral, at level 10 get first opportunity to align with Alliance or Horde. But not mandatory.

Spiritual Guidance: Thirteen dos and don'ts of a raiding holy priest {WoW}

Apr 21st 2008 2:50PM Hey, I bet he didn't mean literally literally...

Officers' Quarters: Casual raiding that works {WoW}

Apr 21st 2008 12:31PM @gundam - you lose all credibility when you start slinging around hate speech. L2growup

TV shows that could be MMOs: Battlestar Galactica {Massively}

WoW Rookie: Safe, Sane, and Balanced {WoW}

Apr 15th 2008 10:22AM @1 - If you accept the notion of "addiction" applying to video games, then your comment is off-base. It is not the addict's fault that they are addicted, any more than it is a diabetic's fault they need insulin. That being said, however, if a player finds that they are addicted, it is their responsibility to take steps, get help, etc. Amanda listed a couple of resources for that.

PotBS drops seven servers, four remain {Massively}

Apr 15th 2008 10:03AM While technical explanation of "we're now able to support more users per server" may be true, it feels like they're searching for a way to avoid saying "we're dying a slow and painful death and can't justify two-thirds of our server farm."

One million concurrent connections set record in WoW {Massively}

Apr 14th 2008 10:19AM Your clever comment about gold farmers got me wondering: if a person in China logged onto a US server (gold farmer or not), did he count towards the million? That is, are we counting people on Chinese servers or people whose connection originates in China?
Not that it matters, just wondering.
