Mar 25th 2012 4:05PM I find it baffling why Kezan, Gilneas, and now Wandering Isles are faction only, leave and then never come back locations. Why spend so much time developing assets, structure, and a story and then let only those players who role that race experience it? Why not have us return to those zones in some phased capacity (a la EPL and the Death Knight starter zone).
I would love to experience Gilneas again on my non-worgen characters, and given how much of the expansion is devoted to the Pandaren culture, it seems a shame to design a zone specifically to abandon it after ten levels.
Dec 16th 2011 7:54AM Can I have a little XTra love? ;-)
Dec 16th 2011 7:52AM More Murkablo please, Sir or Madam!
Aug 3rd 2011 9:57AM Maybe we'll just get fat worgens. They might as well try Worgens a second time - it's possible they'd actually be enjoyable to play then :-)
Jul 20th 2011 9:53AM "The place is probably totally safe and not covered in lead-based paints. Right?"
Shame on you, Fox, for your cynicism! Everything from China is wonderful - which is good to know, since they are well on their way to owning a quarter of the debt and property in the United States. I, for one, welcome our copycatting, corner-cutting, IP-stealing economic overlords.
But seriously, I would pay real money for one of those evil bathroom signs.
Jul 20th 2011 9:47AM "The readers"? You presume all of us can read?
Jul 19th 2011 12:08PM Auctionator. It's Auctioneer without all the unnecessary bloat.
And I second the weird essential need for MSBT. I don't know why I need scrolling battle text, but I get some much from it that I would otherwise have to cobble together from other sources that I don't feel the need for things like DPS monitors.
Jul 15th 2011 3:29PM I gather this is the last Q&A in the "series", which is a little annoying because I would have loved for the devs to spend a little time focusing on 5-mans and their design. In particular, I would like to hear some conversation about the philosophy regarding 5-man completion times, and why cataclysm heroics, even today, require such a substantial time investment over LK and even some BC heroics. Perhaps it's already been addressed and I just missed it.
Jul 15th 2011 12:10AM This was an amazing story - thank you, Lisa, for showcasing Mr. Craig. I'm not sure it will make much difference, but I'm going to roll a toon on that server and see if I can help out his guild. I'm incredibly inspired by Mr. Craig's desire to continue to squeeze out every ounce of life that is there for the squeezing. Cheers to you, Mr. Craig, and thank you again, Lisa.
Jul 13th 2011 7:47PM Ahh, The Point - It was released the year I was born.
I love watching animation from my childhood - everything was like The Point or Hanna-Barbera style. It made it look like every animator was tripping on acid or eating too many Froot Loops (which they probably were)
