Gold Capped: The Undermine Journal {WoW}

Jul 15th 2010 2:15AM Looks like there is only support for a few US realms. The only way I see to add your own server is to submit them through the developer through Warcraftecon: http://www.warcraftecon.net/?p=2518

Time Is Money: Frost Lotus prices and farming {WoW}

Feb 16th 2010 7:45PM JC is actually one of the highest profit professions in the game along with Inscription. The frost lotus shortage is just a phase I believe, it will stabilize when ICC raiding gets stale. warcraftecon.net does a pretty good job of documenting how profitable the JC market can be even through each new patch.

Breakfast Topic: I like gold {WoW}

Oct 6th 2008 7:26PM There are a fair amount of gold sinks in Wotlk, I have estimated about 35-45k gold. I'm currently around 30k so I think I'll be ok come Wotlk. Theres a small article here about some of the new gold sinks:

Encrypted Text: Enchanting your gear, part 1 {WoW}

Nov 16th 2007 4:13PM Great guide, good for rogues that just hit 70, I learned the hard way on what to get for my rogue. After being 70 for a while and not seen too many battlemaster enchants and the lack of info in the internet about it, I decided to throw BM on my OH. This helps in raids and sometimes heroics, but usually not enough, but some may say that average 250hp may save someone from dying. If everyone in your party is not at full health then it heals for average of 250hp X 5 people = 1250HP. Just to let you know this enchant ONLY heals you and your party members within 30 yards, can also crit heal (highest I saw was (400+), and it is not considered a holy spell, but an arcane spell, so +spell dmg may help, but your rogue should not even have any on it anyways, also if someone has increased healing taken like the lock and rogue talents, it can heal for more. As for the healing aggro when it procs, it has been said that it generates the same threat as a normal melee attack made in endgame, so rogues should not be worried about pulling aggro when this procs. If anything mongoose may pull more aggro since its giving say a combat sword rogue more crit, haste, and AP which may lead to that white dmg chain critting along with sword spec procs. But either way, as a rogue you should be managing your aggro and wait for sunders, expecially if you out gear you party members.

This maybe a lot better BT/MH where it gives it a chance to proc more often since the fights are longer and endurance is key. The more people that have it the better. It is said to have a 1 proc per minute rate which is correct according to my procwatcher mod. It probably procs half as much as a mongoose in my experience, mongoose was closer to 2PPM, and almost 4PPM when I was dual wielding it. As far as PVP, mongoose wins hands down since it gives you dodge, AP, 3% crit, haste.

Most rogues out there will get mongoose over this anyday, and some maybe very disappointed in battlemaster since its a nice idea, but doesnt increase your DPS, while some rogues like being on top in damage meters and ignoring the fact that healers can run out of mana or that health can also be important in PVE as in PVP. Like I said before the only real use is in end game raiding.

As a side note about rogue healing haha, drums of restoration can now be easily obtained by leatherworkers now. Thats 600hp + 600mp per person in your party, instant cast, and can be used once every 2 min. Thats about 1500hp every minute compared to 1250hp from battlemaster. So just get mongoose and use drums if you for some reason like to be a rogue that can heal people.
