May 26th 2010 3:50PM I tried number 3, but somehow that doesn't seem to help my mage. I'm great at holding aggro, but I can't ever get it to let me queue as a tank...
Apr 14th 2010 4:44PM @Drex But a pali's fast heal is extremely weak. The way it is now, Holy Light is roughly 50% longer to cast and heals for 300% more (admittedly, gearing plays a lot into that ratio, but that's about how it is for me). If you have someone who needs health right now, you use Holy Shock, or you cast HL and usually .7 seconds isn't enough difference to matter.
Apr 14th 2010 1:18PM "We want to add to the Holy tree a nice big heal to correspond with Greater Heal. Flash of Light remains the expensive, fast heal and Holy Light is the go-to heal that has average efficiency and throughput. Beacon of Light will be changed to work with Flash of Light. We like the ability, but want paladins to use it intelligently and not be constantly healing for twice as much."
This quote kind of scares me. FoL is our CHEAP heal fast heal. But in the long run, it's also our slower heal because HoL hits so much harder. If you want to slowly heal damage efficiently, you use FoL. If you want to quickly heal a lot of damage, HoL is the go to spell.
I can't keep a tank up in a heroic with only FoL, and if the devs think that it's our fast heal and that it's all we need with Beacon, will someone hold me until the bad men go away?
Mar 19th 2010 2:40PM Never play a frost mage then...
Mar 5th 2010 2:48PM Oh it is? I apologize. That isn't nearly as useful as it once was then... (I switched to holy with the advent of bacon...)
Mar 5th 2010 2:35PM That might be part of why Paladins are the aggro magnets that they are today, their stamina is translated into Spell Power, one of their prime stats for generating aggro.
Jan 22nd 2010 8:16PM TB also wins out for general banking because the Anvil and Forge are three steps away from the AH. I don't think there is a more convenient city.
Sep 2nd 2009 8:10AM Skullcrusher has had this issue since before 3.2, and last night didn't fix anything, it's to the point where I think my friends and I won't be renewing subscriptions for the school year.
May 13th 2009 6:33PM I still love my mechanical squirrel. My first engineering accomplishment, and still my favorite.
