Apr 27th 2009 3:43AM Daniel I love you. Great article.
All of you justifying the Horde's actions need to get real.
Oh, the Horde is only maliciously killing Alliance members a little compared to what they could do at all out war? Well, let's throw them a thank you party. I'll bake a cake.
I don't care how hard you think Thrall's job is. The fact is that the Horde is attacking the Alliance for no good reason all over the place, and Thrall isn't stopping them.
Either he doesn't realize and is an idiot, he doesn't care and allows it to happen, or he knows and is unable to stop them, in which case he is a useless leader.
No matter which of these he is, he's not backing up the philosophy he claims to follow. Varian is totally right in everything he has done. Personally, I think he should have executed Jaina for treason by now, since she obviously places Thrall as a higher priority than the rest of the Alliance.
Either Thrall reigns in all the bloodthirsty jerks in the Horde, or the Horde needs to be wiped out.
Also, any Alliance members who aren't supporting Varian need to reroll Horde, you traitors.
Apr 26th 2009 10:39AM This holiday event sucks. Blizzard should have just spread tons of eggs all over the world. On my server, every starter town is full of people. Instead of hunting for eggs, you have to just pick an egg spawn, camp it alongside 2-3 other people and hope that you can click faster than them.
Apr 23rd 2009 11:14AM I'd be a Ret Paladin.
Every time things are looking up and it seems like stuff will turn around, powers beyond my control drag me back down.
Me trying to attack someone is about as effective as throwing soggy tissues at them.
Everyone who isn't me thinks I have it great.
I am no longer allowed to perform Exorcisms on other people.
I enjoy throwing hammers at people.
Everyone who works for Blizzard, especially Ghostcrawler, hates me.
Nov 25th 2008 11:56PM Varian has the right idea and I'm with him 100%.
Personally, I think that what Jaina did was treason, and she should be made an example of.
We all know that the Horde and Alliance have both done bad stuff in their pasts. The Horde has done more bad stuff, but let's put that aside for the moment.
If we forget the past and just look at what the two factions are doing RIGHT NOW, we see that the Horde is still doing a bunch of evil stuff, and the Alliance isn't.
I'm not saying that every member of the Horde is bad, but letting other members of the Horde get away with doing bad things makes you bad by proxy.
Thrall lets bad things happen in his "New Horde" which makes him responsible. And don't say "How should he know everything that's going on?". He's the leader, it's his JOB to know what's going on.
Varian is the best thing to happen to WoW, because he's not a giant sissy. He's willing to lead his troops into the thick of battle and do what's right: Wipe the Horde from the face of Azeroth.
Also, the number of Horde players I have seen ninja mining nodes and mob spawns since WotLK came out only confirms my view that the Horde are a bunch of jerks. I've seen Alliance players do it too, but 80% of what I've seen has been by the Horde.
Oct 6th 2008 10:29AM I killed Coren Direbrew a total of 69 times. The kodo only dropped a single time, and I did not win it. Brewfest was not fun.
Sep 30th 2008 11:05AM I killed Coren Direbrew 64 times. I saw one ram drop and one kodo drop, and I won neither.
A fellow guild member got the kodo on their first run.
After 64 times I realized that the game wasn't fun, and I was just getting angrier the more I killed him, so I stopped doing the daily.
The way I figure it, I'll be cruising around on a chopper when WotLK comes out anyway.
But still, damn you random number generator!
Sep 22nd 2008 5:50PM I have personally killed Coren Direbrew a total of 51 times so far. The kodo has only dropped once, on the 51st kill, and someone else won it.
Meanwhile, someone else in my guild got it on their first ever kill of the boss.
Sep 22nd 2008 9:25AM Update. The kodo finally dropped on the 51th kill. Somebody else won it. I felt RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEE.
Then I felt sad.
Sep 22nd 2008 1:00AM I have killed Coren Direbrew 41 times so far, and not a single mount has dropped. I'm not having fun, but now it's turned into a twisted test of my determination. I don't even want it that badly, but I just can't let the game beat me.
Sep 21st 2008 5:15AM I have killed the boss 32 times now. The mount hasn't dropped for me a single time. A person in my guild got the kodo on their first kill.
This is frustrating.
