Mar 27th 2012 5:24AM She's supposed to be a drop dead diva. That doesn't work with stitches and rotting flesh since most of us are not into necrophilia.
Mar 27th 2012 4:37AM I always knew that Luigi is The Original Warlock!
Mar 27th 2012 4:32AM I cancelled my sub a few months ago and nothing I heard of MoP so far made me want to come back. But green warlock fire? Man, that's what I've been waiting for ever since the world (of warcraft) began. Count me in!
Mar 23rd 2012 5:58AM It's been a while since I last heard of the pet battle system so by now I am pretty sure it will go the Path of the Titans and meet with Dance Studio on the Plane of Nonexistence.
Each Expansion had a cool feature that never got implemented, pet battles will be what's missing in MoP.
Is there something to be seen wrt the pet battles in the beta version currently?
Mar 14th 2012 11:25AM I'm sure the back entrance to the monastery will lead you to a ice barrier that will damage your health if you try to pass it before level 90. At 90 you will get a quest to pass it and follow the path to meet the true leader of the Pandaren who turns out to be a member of the Sha!
Mar 14th 2012 5:36AM Hey Anne,
if you run a dual screen setup you should definitely activate the windowed mode but also set the "maximise" flag. This way your Wow will look like it's full screen (no windows frame) but you can simply move your mouse between your Wow screen and the other screen and navigate your browser. No Alt-Tabbing anymore. Also your Wow will still be displayed while you're browsing so no bad surprises when you come back into the game.
There is even a sound option that lets you control if the Wow sound should still play while you're in another window.
The only drawback is that it will run a bit slower compared to full screen mode but if you have a decent box, you will not notice much of a difference. I still get 50+ fps at all times in 1900x1200 with max details on a Geforce 260 GTS and a dual core E8400.
You can even watch your favourite TV show on the secondary screen while raiding. But don't tell your guild mates ;-)
Mar 12th 2012 7:56AM @Ashlar: So, all inhabitants of the so called Third World are black, have cars that need repair and use blackberries while there are no floods and hurricanes in the other two worlds? People in the internet nations need a more robust sense of the lives being lived in the more real nations.
Dec 30th 2011 5:18AM back in Vanilla when warlock portals worked the "old fashioned way", I got stuck between a wall and a fire in Dire Maul. With the help of my group, I ported myself the two yards from behind the fire to in front of the fire.
I'm not even sure if self-porting is still possible today, but back then it saved me a hearth to IF and a long travel back to DM and it surely is the shortest possible post distance...
Dec 15th 2011 5:17AM easy: Log off.
Then grab a) a girl (or a guy, whatever you prefer) and b) a bottle of Whiskey (it's low on calories and therefore very healthy) and enjoy both alternatively.
To avoid a bad day after, take some calcium to make up for the mineral loss caused by the alcohol, drink plenty of water and use condoms. But stay away from vitamin pills and sweeteners, these will mess up your body and cause more harm than they help.
Also eat high-fat food. It's tasty and you will need the fat to ease your stomach from digesting b) and to make up for the energy you need for a)
I tried this in WoW but it's very dull compared to RL...
Dec 14th 2011 4:23AM oh yes, I agree. I already liked Oblivion but my WoW addiction was too strong back then so I only played a few hours. Now with Skyrim it's different. It's got everything I missed in Wow (great graphics, immersive story and atmosphere, player housing) and is free of all the things that annoyed me in Wow at the end (the problems and limitations that come with multiplayer games). It's even got a pause button for you to use when your phone rings in the middle of a fight with a dragon!!!
If you feel burnt out from years of WoW but you still have that gaming itch, you should definitely try out Skyrim and stay away from TOR.
No matter how good this turns out to be, it's still an MMO and if you're annoyed of WoW for the same reasons as me, chances are you will start to feel burnt out again very soon.
