May 26th 2008 10:55AM They're all right. I closed my account for the first time since the original WoW Beta in April, because I was bored (got my arena title and had an 70 alt of every class except rogue) and over geared for the ten mans and couldn't commit the four days a week minimum of any of the Hyjal/BT raiding guilds on my server.
You just have to make the decision to find the time if you really want to see that content. If something stops you, then you have to ask yourself is what is stopping you from seeing that content more important to you.
If the answer is yes, and there is no way you can play more than that 2 or 3 days a week, it might be time to find something else to do until WLK. I know I'll be back then as we'll be able to see most the 25 man content in 10 mans.
May 23rd 2008 3:33PM May only real complaint with BC was that the storyline for the 25man raids was pretty lame.
You had three leaders all growing unhappy with each other, probably only months from being at each others throats (at least Kael was undoubtedly going to make a move Illidan be damned).
Anyway, it just wasn't enough to motivate me to keep raiding the 25's. As opposed to the driving story with some urgency in it of Azeroth.
Northrend seems to have that urgency behind the story again of an impending threat that needs to be addressed.
Apr 17th 2008 9:07AM As someone with seven Lvl.70's I don't worry for 2 reasons.
1) I played the alpha of WLK at Blizzcon. Unless their was a massive retuning to the 1st zone you have nothing to fear. The mobs were all tuned for someone in lvl.70 blues.
2) The thing to worry about is all the well geared mains running around killing you at every corner. I personally don't worry about this, as I'll be leveling my main and gearing him first and then come back to the alts. Giving the other people with only one character plenty of time to get out of the starting areas.

I demand a Penguin I can train to use as a pet on my hunter. So I can call him Bender.
I would greatly settle for them just as decoration, Polymorphy effect, or a NCP.

No other class gets to complain until your 31pt. talent sucks that bad.
Feb 19th 2008 11:24AM Maybe it's just because I've been around since launch, but if you were a hardcore raider pre-BC, the current herb prices look like a giveaway. What ore costs now is what herbs use to look like (or worse) per stack in the pre-BC days. I can only imagine how profitable herbalism would still be if they hadn't nerfed flasks.
Any time you can, it is always best to gather or buy the mats and have someone with the appropriate mastery make the pots/elixirs etc. for you.
Feb 18th 2008 6:24PM I was driving home from work today and the the major Seattle radio news channel even had a two minute news blurb on "Toshiba's impending announcement of the demise of HD-DVD". At the point when even local news media is picking this up and it's getting out of the tech community to the average person... it's time to cut their losses, now.
Feb 16th 2008 8:04PM Since my AQ40 days, I've been "The healer who does 1/4 of the total raid healing on boss fights". The only guy that shows up with every food, elixir, pot they can get their hands on so they never run out of mana. And has a supernatural ability to find the one spot to avoid death. Thus being the one up at 5% spamming heals on the last 6 dps .
