New Mytheon trailer features the wrath of Zeus {Massively}

Feb 9th 2011 7:56PM @Magnux

The game itself mixes a variety of mythologies, so everything tends to get a bit muddled. It was interesting when I tried the last beta, and if they ever add a Norse-influenced class, I'm there like shareware.

Nov 22nd 2010 1:47PM Whew, finally. I had nabbed one probably in the eighth minute or so, and I'm pretty happy. I've been following the game since it was called Heroes of Telara, but just never managed to get the Facebook/Twitter VIP keys (Twitter post made 24 seconds ago?! Too late, buddy!).

Thanks, Massively!

Sep 8th 2010 12:29PM Clearly, as a Dwarf Minstrel, I'd use the money to purchase a dashing outfit for myself. It would be stunning, perfect to wow the audience when I debut my barbershop quartet The Barley Boys, with our first single, "Sweet Mine of Mine".

The Daily Grind: If you could change a past MMO decision, what would it be? {Massively}

Apr 5th 2010 8:49AM I'd likely force myself to keep playing EQ roughly 8 years ago, letting myself give it a chance past level 10. It seems like such a deep game, but I just tried it again recently, and it's quite difficult to get in to now as a newb, at least for myself. (That, and pick Dwarf Cleric instead of Troll Warrior. My love for short, bearded men...stop looking at me like that...hadn't blossomed yet.)

The Road to Mordor: 10 reasons why LotRO is worth picking up over shiny new MMOs {Massively}

Mar 5th 2010 11:17AM Aside from convincing friends to play, this article may have just convinced *me* to go back and give it a solid effort. Having hopped on at launch and been (somewhat unwittingly) dragged back into WoW before I could dive too deep, I've admired LotRO for quite some time now. It's just so solid, and every time I go back in for the numerous Welcome Back weekends (of which I've taken too little advantage), there just seems like so much content that can be lovingly sifted through.

My only concern is the classic "showing up horribly late to the party" syndrome at this point, in addition to just not knowing what class I want (Champion or Minstrel?!) The change to make the older books soloable is a lovely turn, though.

For anyone who's been on the fence about this game, I highly recommend the trial. While at its core it's a traditional MMO through and through, I almost see it as the NPR to WoW's wacky morning show. Sure, one's a lot flashier, and don't get me wrong, it's fun, but LotRO just feels classier in a lot of ways.

The Daily Grind: Blizzard's next MMO? {Massively}

Feb 20th 2009 8:46AM I'm personally voting for Steampunk/Weird West. Possibly the Deadlands license, but I'll take a close approximation. :D

Jun 28th 2008 6:35AM is now constant, and I can't stop swearing in delight. My future is now uncertain, and my girlfriend will hate me.

Massively's Massive Giveaways - Win a 24" Samsung LCD Monitor! [Updated] {Massively}

Nov 18th 2007 11:53PM Hmmm....I do feel bad that my only posts have been in response to potential prizes, but I really do intend to post more....

My current monitor (and I feel bad about typing this, as it can see everything I write o.O ) could use a bit of good ol' fashioned replacin'. The screen is smudgy and laden with what might be dead bug juice, and the power button is actually inoperable, so I just, well, let it do its thing.
