Feb 14th 2008 4:51AM Chuck in a bucket! And it's fishing related! Now I really can't wait for 2.4 to come out (honest, no sarc)
Feb 12th 2008 4:09AM Boo for the 25-man instance for all those 8-9% of the guilds that are in MH/BT. Yei for the new 5-man instance!
Small and/or casual guilds never see 25-man content, let alone new and shiny Sunwell, but I guess they gotta keep one of the most demanding usergroup of hardcore raiders happy (and probably, long time customers).
Feb 12th 2008 3:56AM Andrew, I couldn't agree more. Dailies for tailors and enchanters, please. And other crafting professions while at it. Someone has to make things out of the gathered things, right? Come on, I want to knit!
Maybe that is the problem. How to adjust crafting daily work-reward connection?
Give crafter the materials only usable for that daily & give very little gold reward?
Make crafter buy the materials (or gather) & give good gold reward?
Or maybe reward in cooking daily style, random materials & rare recipes?
Feb 12th 2008 3:46AM Agreed.
They should remove the Aldor/Scryer one-or-the-other relation. Let people go to both Tiers, do both quests, access both rep vendors - isn't that allies in war do?
Feb 9th 2008 5:37AM I don't mind playing with the kids, I play the same way with everyone (at least until their behavious gives away their age, usually by lots of "!" and "?", impatience and such).
So I prefer playing with older players, because it's just nicer to play with like-minded, mature people (and being 2-3-4 times older often means against that).
Feb 9th 2008 5:06AM If I would give a tip about tailoring to someone, I'd say - keep doing primal mooncloth, spellcloth and shadowcloth everytime the CD is off, and start early.
It takes soooo long to get mats for, let's say, Primal Mooncloth set. I think I bought and traded about 80& of the Primal Mooncloth I needed, just to save 30 or so days.
As Healing priest, the tailored epics last for a very long time, pmc+whitemend already mentioned, and Boots of the Long Road recipe being BoE - All easily available before Kara.
But now that powerleveling and "tailoring is great for cloth casters" is covered, what about profiting from tailoring? I only make g of the rare recipes that require Primal Nether. And sometimes making all kinds of Bags. What else?
Feb 7th 2008 8:56AM I couldn't care less for HKs. For a very long time I had zero (0). Even now I don't have much, at least less than 1337, and it's ok. PvE is my thing. If PvP is the cookie for someone else, more power to them.
Dec 23rd 2007 12:54PM I see two kinds of farming:
- farming for personal need
- farming for gold (things to sell)
..I rarely farm for personal need, I rather buy what I need and go doing something more "useful" or farm to sell
I buy if:
- I can't farm the thing myself
- buying it takes me to my goals faster (and get me back to making gold or doing things I actually want to do)
- rare item(s) where the time I would have to invest farming it is too big (and even then unsure that I get it)
- Farming the item(s) myself takes time, and if I can get more gold by farming (or doing) something else in shorter time
I don't think my gold would be any good if I didn't use it to anything :)
Nov 19th 2007 1:39AM Keep it up! I'm rather new to WoW (only at the end of my free month), and I started the game as priest, went shadow and never looked back (I might respec for end-game when I get there thou).
As said, I dont have experience on other classes, but I dont know if I can play another caster after Spirit Tapping it for this long! 5x Wand Spec + 5x Spirit Tap, and people keep asking me "how you level so fast" :)
I'm almost at level 52 now and I love my PW:S,Mind Blast+SW:P,strafe run,MF,Wand grinding, zero downtime, 100% fun. Oh, and respec to full shadow for Shadowform at 40 was a good choice btw.
