May 3rd 2011 6:35PM Using AMS, IBF during the Nef fight is a mandatory for dps DKs. The damage this can avoid is very handy to take pressure from your heal team. IDuring phase 2 (pillars) I go as far as changing to blood spec if our add dies faster than the others and I have to stand on the pillar watching.
Apr 5th 2011 6:41PM Quick thought on reforging, sometimes it is seriously worth considering the alternate or secondary enchants. eg. the Boot enchant which adds Stam and runspeed is darn good, although the runspeed can be gained using the glyph of BoneShield; and the two don't stack (from what I've seen). So the Mastery enchant is the go-to Boot enchant.
I also read and am not sure if the balancing of Parry and Dodge is based on the rating %, the rating % before weapon enchants (ignoring the extra Parry from a runeforge), or the raw rating level (say parry at 1377 vs dodge at 1299). I've read that it is based on the raw rating levels, which are then converted to %, but that would seem difficult to calculate the balance of dimishing returns. Any thoughts?
Jan 13th 2011 10:13PM DK Chain of Ice is basically only an irritant - it is not CC at all. And the 8 Sec freeze is only for Frost DKs, not tanks and not Blood, so very rare. Army is terrible for fights where control and CC are important. Basically DKs are like Warriors, we do not bring much to the 5 man group for CC at all.

No way in hell anyone who knows a thing about the affects of real identities was listened to in this choice. I'd like to turn off so many aspects of the RealID system, that it will likely affect my choice to buy other products.
This should have been communicated better, and given to the player base to be involved.
What is the value to the players in the change?

Mar 10th 2010 9:03PM Fully support Monk as the new class - so much so that I rave blogged about it a while back. A cloth wearing melee with healing capacity would be a total nightmare for itemisation, but the Monk certainly already exists in the game, and would be well received.
Jan 19th 2010 4:53PM Was thinking that new combat and activity animations might help keep the game fresh too. Our toons have been making the same attack moves and spell casts since level 1.
Jan 14th 2010 7:13PM The issue I have seen many many times since the LFg tool was upgraded is DPS moving ahead and doing the actual pulls, then expecting the Tanks to handle it. I've seen a Druid-Tree do this too.
When asked to stop they reply with inane trash talk. I think your article is very reasonable and sensible, but there is nothing reasonable and sensible about a dps who ignores the capacity of the team around them and just zergs. It is selfish and frustrating.
I would love to see an article which directly points out this bad play style in critical language, in an attempt to raise this as an understood issue and change the communities attitude.
You want to know why Tanks hate pugs? It is because we are often marginalised by selfish players, and it makes the runs unenjoyable.
