Aug 7th 2007 12:57PM I think wowinsider needs to learn how to take a joke. Especially from a show like South Park, where poking fun at everything is kinda their ENTIRE thing.
It was actually pretty honest as well as funny. They actually showed how fun wow can be, as well as how frustrating it can be. I also showed that everyone plays the game, though there is a large contingent of "1337" gamers within the super-high-level-no-lifers. So, why wouldn't Blizzard support this? Because the commentary was true?
Jul 31st 2007 12:08PM At best, this can be Sam and Max meets Final Fantasy.
At worst, this can make me never read Penny-Arcade ever again.

Jul 25th 2007 4:26PM As a person new to WoW class specs as a whole ( only ever rolled Rogue, Warrior, and Priest), I found it incredibly informative in spotting different specs and how to adapt yourself to them, which, no doubt is what this article aims to do.
Of course people will be mad or try and correct you when they see you try to sum up their entire class in one or two sentences.
Don't listen to people whining about this and that - you wrote what you set out to do, and I benefitted from it.
Jul 18th 2007 1:29PM I found it funny.
If that's the best the funnymen at sarcastic gamer can hurl against the wii, then the wii is looking pretty good compared to the sound thrashings they give the ps3 and 360.
Jul 16th 2007 9:15AM Yeah, except metroid has been around for about a decade longer, and when someone shoots you in the back you don't have to turn around with an analog stick for a full second.
Couple that with the fact that its a different genre (ADVENTURE), you really look retarded.
Jul 13th 2007 10:12AM We should listen to this guy because he peppered his constipated diatribe with interesting points and facts like "underpowered hunk of crap," "shit games" and "swinging arms around like mongoloids." I really think he was evenhanded and unbiased. His inference that we all live in our parents' basement and that the 360/PS3 is better simply because it costs more money really hit home with me.
HOW hasn't anyone minus'ed this guy to crap yet?
Jul 11th 2007 4:36PM Aimed at the right markets (Fitness/Music/Mainstream media), this has the potential to be a huge success and generate even more console sales from the most elusive demographics in video games: The jocks/fitness buffs/women/"I've only played Halo and Pac-man" group.
If nintendo wins the console race, it will be because they took a big risk by releasing products like this that expand their user base well beyond the loyal customers of sony and microsoft. Fanboys from all sides need to calm down; they're embarrassing themselves.
May 12th 2006 9:35PM Hard to compare this game to WoW, seeing as how Spore isn't a MMO. Its sure as hell massive, its online, but it isnt multiplayer. All the player creations and behavior are sent to a home server which is given to everyone else, which is controlled by the computer.
I kind of like the idea, but even in such an ambitiously large and realistic universe, its hard not to feel a little lonely when you arent actively interacting with anyone.
May 12th 2006 2:58PM I don't think anyone viewed the DS as "GBA 2.5" when it first came out. I think now, since it is a huge success, people acknowledge it as such, but most people considered it some abhorrent step sister of GBA.
