The Queue: Noblegarden free! {WoW}

Apr 28th 2009 7:32AM I use this trategy:

1. Keep your shields high, above 2 at all times.
2. Every time the NPC distances himself from you (including the start of the fight) Charge.
3. After every Charge, wheel around hard and throw a Shield Breaker. Thi'll leave him at one shield (probably 2 when you charge the next time), making the fight a bit quicker.

(4.) If he's beeing an ass and is staying up close, circle around him while putting a little distance between you, then Shield Break him. This is hard to do w/o getting hit yourself though.

Apr 28th 2009 7:28AM Codexx had a nice post at ~50ish which iI think belong on teh 1st page, I use this player too, it uses little memory and has all the basic functions you want/need:

"I'm going to go ahead and recommend VLC media player for anything. It's light on resources, has a minamalistic HUD, though you can get skins for it if you'd like, and it can play nearly any file. You can then proceed to create playlists(which are formatted in a file that can be opened and edited in Notepad, and to my knowledge may be supported by other software, and are not locked down to VLC). There's the added bonus of not reading DRM, so that pesky DRM on many of your songs will not be used, and consequently, if you'd like, you can convert your entire collection to DRM free files of any file type you'd like, if you don't want to pay iTunes to remove it."

Spiritual Guidance: Disc Priest gives Arcane Mages 600+ spellpower {WoW}

Apr 27th 2009 3:53AM "Power Word: Shield isn't healing and so does not get the benefits of Twin Disciplines or Focused Power."

Do you have any data to support your statement Anonumoose? It might just be a case of a poorly worded tooltip.

Maybe it should read "Increases the power of the effects done by your instant spells by 5%." ?

Noblegarden FAQ {WoW}

Apr 26th 2009 7:05AM I've checked teh different spawn sites (EU Anachronos, at 10-13 o clock):

Azure watch:
a lot of eggs on a small surface, and easy to see but also packed with people.

Not too many ppl surprisingly, but few eggs on a large surface.

A lot of ppl, a lot of eggs and nicely hidden inside bushes. The eggs here are a bit harder to see which means there will be elss camping.

Not many eggs here compared to the surface. But then again there weren't that many ppl there.

UPDATED: European maintenance extended till 3pm CET {WoW}

Apr 15th 2009 5:28AM "Let's get real here for a second. When I signed off at midnight, the US realms were only just started to pop back up. Did you honestly think we here in Europe were going to get away scott free? "

Well Lesley, considering that our transatlantic neighbour has already worked with this issue for 24 hrs one owuld expect the downtime to be less on this side of the puddle.

Repeating errors and not communicating being the less smart way to drive a business and all.

Blizzard S.A.S. (France) to publish WoW in the EU {WoW}

Apr 12th 2009 4:16AM I declare this discussion lost due to misdemeanor of Godwin's Law.

It's not yet comparing someone to nazi's but using war history and inaccurate metaphors to generalize upon a country and it's inhabitants.

The french are weird, weird but wonderful.

Apr 12th 2009 3:58AM Australia might only have .32% of the worlds population but only about .183% of the worlds population plays WoW.

Australia being an industrialized nation with good IT development and a high standard of living would probably constitue quite a significant part of the player-base.

After all Scandinavia has one of the larger %s of players in Europe, though only containing ca 5% of Europe's population.

Dedicated dual wield tree for Death Knights a possibility {WoW}

Apr 8th 2009 7:03PM I don't think that DK's should be 2H only.

But your post strikes close to my own little question:

Why, of all trees, is FROST the one with the DW talent("s", it's one talent). Blood seems to be the tree which emphazises weapons more and is a more logical choice for DW. UH Has many talents that are very useful for a DWDK. Frost is the only tree that actually has little of interrest asa DWDK (unless you go deep frost).

That being said, I think this is a great idea.

25-man gear should not be better than 10-man gear {WoW}

Apr 1st 2009 12:37PM Ok, that cut half my post, the part regarding the issues that arise if we feel there is no hard-to rech content and sollutions for equalizing the individual rewards for 25/10 mans.

But man, I have sinusitis and don't feel like retyping it because my head is being a real dick to me right now.
