May 3rd 2008 9:27PM There's just one problem with a change like that. There were a few times when I used to arena where a member of my team would drop connection just as the queue popped so my team would decide to just not enter the queue. What happens to the people who have legitimate reasons for not entering?
Apr 14th 2008 11:59AM On Magmadar and Golemagg, melee stack as many debuffs on you as possible. You become immune to all fire damage after the 20th stack.
Pulling both Baron and Shazz with exactly 2 lava packs all at once makes you an elite puller. True story.
Everyone zerg Domo and ignore his adds, ok?
Remember, the Sons of Hakkar come automatically and when we kill them, no one stand in the poison.
Everyone stand on top of Fankriss and just do massive AoE.
I could go on, but I'll stop.
Apr 14th 2008 11:41AM Awww man I wish I saw the original post a week ago, I got some old school ones:
UBRS raid, remember the bridge just before Drak's room? Turn so you can see the other bridge (if you're a hunter or someone who can reach and if your run is going terrible) and fire something at the mobs. When they reach, FD and hearth. I think I did that once on my paladin with my linkin's boomerang. I just bubbled and jumped off the bridge. Your projectile has to be something barely noticeable by the rest of your party though.
Remember guys, when Shazz is aggro'd onto you and you're not the main tank, just make sure you stand still right where you are. That way Shazz's arcane explosion will only hit your group and not every1's group when he's in the middle.
Guys I'm a hunter, I have the most range here so I don't need FR for the lava packs. [all of the tanks proceed to bring their mobs over to that hunter and chase him around]
Remember to hug Garr's adds really tight when they're about to die, they provide a nice undispelable buff on death that let's us kill Garr quicker.
New rogues in the guild must pass the initiation. There's a secret chest behind Golemagg that gives phat lewtz. When he dies, go back into that hole and pick the lock. [Rogue dies instantly. Rogue channel erupts in laughter.]
Rogues stand directly behind every dragon from now on. Blizzard removed tail whip from the game and replaced it with a sideways cleave. They felt they really wanted rogues to be the "do it from behind" class.
I got more... lol
Mar 26th 2008 2:56PM If it's intended by Blizzard for a fight to be done a certain way, it's not an exploit (such as ducking in the water on Lurker because if you couldn't, the entire raid would die). If it wasn't intended, but Blizzard doesn't care that people are doing a fight a way they had never thought of, it's not an exploit. If it's something Blizzard is working on patching or already patched, it's an exploit.
Mar 22nd 2008 2:03AM That depends on your personality. I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to spend money on useless/senseless things especially when there's a cheaper alternative.
And I wasn't an adult when I was in high school. WoW wasn't the cool thing to do. Next you're going to say I'm a poser. No, WoW was really the only thing I was self-conscious about.
Mar 21st 2008 11:23PM Don't worry Matt, I don't see the appeal either. Although I was also a closet WoW player while I was still playing. WoW wasn't exactly something I bragged about IRL. They're a waste of money IMO. If you want to see your character decked in T6 or at some other point of progression, take a screenshot and save yourself a pretty penny.
Mar 1st 2008 3:04PM Oh crap I accidentally had 2006 on my calender selected :(. The date I chose wasn't even a Tuesday. Am I allowed to change it to 03/18?
