Mar 31st 2009 9:25PM But 25-man bosses drop twice as much loot. There's a statistical difference, but a very small one:
guaranteed drops per raider in 10-man: 3
guaranteed drops per raider in 25-man: 2.4
Then factor in the number of times loot has to be sharded because the appropriate class/spec is not represented (frequent in 10-man, rare in 25), and the gap narrows still further.
Mar 31st 2009 9:20PM Hear hear.
Our guild typically runs 2 10-man Naxx groups per weekend but can't field a 25. Having maxxed out my ilevel 200 gear options on two characters, I'm now having to pug Naxx 25 twice a week in order to get any upgrades.
Now GC says (essentially) that Ulduar 25 will not be puggable, removing even that option.
I would *much* rather 10 and 25 gave equal loot. Some 10-man fights are easier, some harder, on balance they're about the same. Bigger != better.
Feb 5th 2009 5:05PM It's not just you. Gundrak is pretty hard for a priest to heal (surpassed only by AN and maybe HoL), and damage in most of the heroics is spikey ... it'll be nothing ... nothing ... BAM DEAD all at once. I went Disc for Penance and insta-shields because my tanks were going 90-0 in the time of one (talent-hasted) gheal.
Jan 21st 2009 8:23AM Shackle and Freezing Trap are bugged -- they work, but no graphic appears around the mob. May apply to other spells as well.
Dec 16th 2008 11:19AM Confirmed. I have had an invisible player (in another phase of Icecrown and Storm Peaks) mine a node right out from under me.
Nov 23rd 2008 6:05PM "Daily quests that open up before level 80ish will give you less gold depending on their level. For example, the quest in which you steal babies for a walrusman in the Dragonblight only give 5 gold at top level."
That quest is giving 5 gold pre-80, along with rep and a 20K chunk of XP. Are you saying that XP will not be translated into gold at max level anymore?
