Build Shop: Warrior 31/27/3 for Season 4 {WoW}

Jun 25th 2008 1:18PM I'm thinking about dusting off my warrior and jumping into pvp until Wrath hits. What's a good spec to get started in bg's?

Drysc weighs in on questing {WoW}

Feb 8th 2008 10:17AM I think Bliz did a great job with quest rewards in BC. My main (70 warrior) is running Kara still wearing some quest blues (and maybe even a green) that are good, solid pieces of equipment that I'm going to have to work at replacing.

Breakfast Topic: When did you get hooked? {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2008 12:57PM I played Dungeons and Dragons a lot in high school and college (late 70's, early 80's) those days looking for group meant calling your friends on the phone and setting up a game the next Friday night.

My son bought WoW on release and when I saw that you could play a game very similar to D&D without all the hassles, I was hooked. I had my own account in days. I remember somehow (unknowingly) un-equipping my sword as a lvl 1 warrior and going to lvl 5 beating everything to death with my bare hands...such a noob!

Blizzard and unintended consequences {WoW}

Jan 15th 2008 3:07PM There you go...address the "fun factor". What's fun about running the same BG 10 times in a row? I'd like to see a BG called "Azeroth at War". It would be a campaign mode pvp setting and players could go to wherever the battle was or go find new battles on their own. The fight would go 24/7 and territories and cities won would stay in control of that faction until taken back. Sort of like a pvp server only with events and quests geared towards world pvp.

The benefits?
1. It would be fun.
2. AFK'ers would be a non issue
3. It would give players a reason to win. What horde player doesn't want to sack Stormwind??

I know there are a lot of problems too. Server lag/crash is the first that comes to mind...but hey...I can dream right??

You'll always remember your first {WoW}

Jan 9th 2008 1:11PM My first was a human warrior I started on my son's account about a week after the initial release. I played him as much as I could but at about lvl 30 I started my own account. I rolled a Nelf hunter (no appologies, Night Elf hunters are great!) and played him until Bliz came out with paid character transfers and I could get both toons on the same account. Both are 70 now and I love the two different play styles but I would have to say that my original warrior is still my main.
It's funny, I never really intended to start playing WoW, I just started that warrior to check the game out. Being an old Dungeons and Dragons player (paper and pencil version) I thought it was pretty cool. I remember running from Northshire Abbey to Goldshire for the first time. It was at night and I expected to get attacked at every tree and being relieved that I made it to the inn safely!

Dec 27th 2007 11:31AM That's right Mort, now I remember. DK's could really mess up your week. They should enable dk's for areas away from cities and pvp objectives

Dec 27th 2007 11:10AM People who gank lowbies on a pvp server should be given dishonorable kills. I forget how the system worked before but it seemed like it messed up your rep with friendly factions if you had too many dhk's.
