Five tips for inventory management {WoW}

Apr 10th 2009 11:24AM I've found the add-on AutoProfit to be very handy, it adds an icon to all vendor screens that auto-sells all grey items in your bags when you click on it. Very handy for when a grey item gets into my bags in an unexpected square as I'd usually overlook it when selling off crap.

Ask WoW Insider: Ding before Outland? {WoW}

Jun 30th 2008 2:13PM I guess you're pretty much going to be running around in Azeroth, going to all the former endgame zones, and seeing what quests you can get in. As you noted, getting groups together for many of them will probably be tough, since the only reason people are going to Eastern Plaguelands, Winterspring, and Silithus is to get that one last level in before heading to Outland, or to get mats to level up crafting skills.

Keep an ear out for paladins and warlocks looking to get their level 60 class mounts, and running the instances for those should net you some XP.

At level 66, you can go to Caverns of Time in Tanaris, and start running the Old Hillsbrad and Black Morass instances. You may have to end up grinding the non-elite mobs in Black Morass for the last couple levels, as I'd guess all of the other quests and mobs in the old content will be grey.

WoW Moviewatch: Ring of Valor 2 {WoW}

Jun 25th 2008 4:21PM Huh. I didn't think it was cultured, sensitive, white knighty, or championing women's rights to find a scene of sexual slavery distasteful. I thought it was human.

Thanks for correcting me, Internet!

Jun 25th 2008 1:29PM Reading the writeup on Crocolisk, I can't believe some people got upset when the winner of the beauty contest was beaten up, stripped down, and promised as spoils to the victor of the final match. What clods.

Seriously though, that vignette wrecked the movie for me. It was stomach-turning, and cast a misogynist pall over the rest of the production. Yvanka's shameful defense on the Crocolisk blog of, "It wasn't rape! Don't take it so seriously." is almost worse. It doesn't matter that Adelah says she was comfortable with the event (and the attention!). The only time women show up in the movie, and it's to be degraded, defeated, and shown as literal sex objects.

I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one who was put off by this.

Jun 7th 2008 5:27PM I've never noticed the Source link before, and you're quite correct that it goes to the source post. I'll be more diligent in looking for it from now on.
