Mar 25th 2012 4:44PM Yes, I'm also on Mac & would love to know what would be available for that OS to live stream.
Mar 24th 2012 8:35AM I usually use Book somewhere in a characters name. Such as Naturebook for my Druid or Bookocurses for my warlock. Been considering Zenbook for my monk, but I'm not set on it yet.
Mar 12th 2012 1:37PM Let's see.... 25 man raiding guild with currently 29 on the active rosters (female/total)
-Tanks: 0/3 (used to be 1/4, but our female tank had to return to school)
-Healers: 3/9 (paladin, shaman, druid)
-Melee dps: 1/10 (my rogue)
-Ranged dps: 4/7 (2 ele shaman, 2 warlocks)
Probably even more amusing is our 4 priests (2 healers, 2 shadow) are all male.
As for myself in order of getting toons to 85:
1. main rogue
2. Blood DK
4. boomkin druid
First character I tried to learn to heal on was the priest. She was discipline & only did dungeons from 20 till 70. I had to switch to questing on her because she was my enchanter & I needed the green quest rewards to continue to level enchanting. The first character I tried to heal in a raid on was my boomkin druid. In the middle of Firelands I was trying to read tool tips while healing.
Mar 12th 2012 1:22PM When I play horde, I usually play male BElfs or Taurens just to challenge gender stereotypes a bit (yes I'm female).
Feb 21st 2012 11:22AM My alt run, uses the need=main spec/greed=off spec random rolling. First several weeks, we were like "I won this, but it would be the mage's 2pc set bonus & I already have my LFR 2pc, so I'm giving it to him." It was almost comical the amout of loot swapping, but I think we all have become tighter knit as a group because of this.
Feb 20th 2012 8:56AM The way I understood the explanation of symbiosis is similar to Dark Intent/Focus Magic in that you cast it on your target prior to entering combat, then you don't really have to leave your combat form to do the ability. Just the bear will consecrate, the moonkin will have mirror image moonkins, etc.
Feb 20th 2012 8:48AM That would sooooo be worth all the repair bills! Hey, guys Zen'kiki's up! (the whole raid stops to watch)
Feb 19th 2012 12:44PM My main's a rogue. Though I've had several people tell me I play a rogue like a warrior.
Jan 31st 2012 8:57AM A pet peeve of mine currently is people queuing as a healer & then dps-ing. The "healer" priest who is in shadow form. Or the "healing" druid who was in cat form the entire time. Though the 1 time I had no complaint: Got some uber 1337 healers who told 1 of the 6 healers that they had it & to swap to their dps spec. I didn't have any problem with that. The 5 healers we did have didn't even seem to break a sweat healing the entire time. It was awesome.
But my 1 major bad experience. Keep in mind I have 4 toons that I run through the LFR weekly, my main attempts heroic modes & my main alt runs regular modes as well. I was on my DK who is not my most played alt. I ran into a fury warrior who wasn't happy that I won a Bone Link Fetish trinket from Blackhorn. Warrior kept complaining about "scrub DK" winning. A Holy paladin even made a comment to the warrior to the effect of "Wow, entitled much?" Now I was above the tanks in dps & I didn't look to see where he was in dps on that fight. So I ignored what he was saying & didn't even respond. I was planning to put him on my ignore list before I dropped from raid, but hadn't yet. So progress onto Spine. We down it. Eye of Unmaking trinket dropped. Apparently Blizz loaded my dice & I won that as well. Well fury warrior proceded to get downright nasty & ended up making the comment "u go kill yourself now." That was the point I'd absolutely had it. I put him on ignore & dropped the raid. I also reported him to the GM's. After I calmed down I looked at the dps meters for Spine & got a good laugh. He was only pulling less than 1k more dps than I was on my DK.
Side Note: I'm very much a softy, if he hadn't blasted me personally & had asked nicely I more than likely would have handed over one of the trinkets even though both were upgrades for my DK.
Jan 13th 2012 2:25PM In a guild group at the start of Cata heroics we got a random Throne of the Tides & on one boss I saw an Agi chest piece (was on my rogue) drop so I rolled need. Then someone pointed out that it was mail. /facepalm. So used to LFD where i cant roll need on mail that I had forgotten that I could in a preformed. I offered to give it to whoever wanted it as no hunters or Enh shamans were in the group (no DE'er either). They were all cool & told me to just keep it & vendor it.
