Aug 27th 2009 10:17AM Hey, used to listen to GuildCast, and was pretty sad when it ended, and I was just looking for information about GW2 and found this, great show. I had 'quit' Guild Wars, like WoW, WAR and LotRO (lotro being my favorite of those three) but couldn't resist jumping back into GW after seeing the trailer. Currently I am grinding the last 19k or so of my Sunspear points to get Grand Spearmarshal.
From the other MMOs I've played, I'd really like to see a proper journal system introduced, like what was in WAR, and LotRO aswell. Apart from that I think you've got all the bases covered. Maybe Guilds could be expanded on, but I'm not sure how.
Anyway, loved GuildCast, loved this show, and I'll be tuning in in the future.
May 15th 2008 5:23PM I started a Troll Rogue (Not on an RP server, but I'm thinking of rerolling).
Originally he was a fisherman in Sen'jin, known as the fast fish gutter in Durotar (a dozen in ten seconds). A shadowy orc passing though Sen'jin noticed his skill with a knife, and taught him a few trick, how to blend into the background, where to strike on a person to make them immobile, and sent him on a little mission to test his skill, promising an exciting life if he succeed, and a good burial if he didn't. Boredom, more than anything, made my Troll accept, and he went off to kill the garrison command of a Human stronghold. Killing him easily, the orc revealed himself to be an agent of the Shattered Hand, and offered the troll a place. He is making his way up the ranks, keeping busy while not on assignment, and learning the ways of the rogue.
Does anyone know a good EU RP server/guild I could reroll on, I like this character (my first RP'd one), and want to develop him in a more friendly atmosphere, something easier to RP in. Thanks
Apr 23rd 2008 4:58PM Will Death Knight be a Horde (Forsaken) or a new 'Faction' all on to their own? Because, remembering my Warcraft III lore, the Death Knight was a Scourge only class.
Apr 12th 2008 6:21AM One of the things that strikes me immeadiatly reading this article, the comments that people have posted on these threads, is the arguments which these ideas encourge. It's one thing to discuss the implicatons of what an update has on the game, it's another thing all together when an aspect of the game provokes an, and this is important, intelligent argument on the aspects of beauty and what that means. This is something which philosophers have been arguing about nearly since the time of Thales and Milesian school.
Bravo WoW subsribers, it is you who make the game, and all things good about it.
Mar 22nd 2008 3:40PM Bronzebeard for '08, we need a strong leader for the WotLK, and his foreign relations policy is perfect for what is to come in the year ahead.
Dec 3rd 2007 12:34PM If you just saw a co-worker and friend get fired for such an 'infraction' I don't think you'd be the first person to jump up and attack your employer. If they fired Jeff cause of the review, and it's still only an if, then they wouldn't bat an eyelid about sacking another editor for a more sackable offence.
