Are we the bad guys of Azeroth? {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2008 4:53PM it real simple, we have two camps 1 is for honorable level base PvP with no ganking no camping and basic chivalry.

the other a pro ganking side made up of 12 years old and there 40 year equivalents who have been bullied all there lives and now have finally found a way to do reverse that in real life.

broken down to reality thats all it is, well adjusted humans playing a game (non gankers) vs very badly maladjusted humand with severe ego problems (gankers)

And no amount of chest beating by the gankers will do anything but prove my point.

PvP I hate, but if you want it attack some thing that has a chance to fight back. rather than trying to build you broken ego ruin the fun other players. (and yes i rolled on a PVP server)

The Light and How to Swing It: Holy paladin gear enchants, part 1 {WoW}

Apr 2nd 2008 1:56PM Crits unreliable on boss fights? Long fights are were they average out and is were they are most reliable. A good balance of MP5 (around 60), high crit chance (27-30%) and the meta gem with chance for 300 mana on cast balance out to a very good constant stream of mana through the entire fight.

Forum post of the Day: The Death of PvP Guilds {WoW}

Mar 28th 2008 2:57PM a couple of way to keep the BG more interesting. 1) premades only fight premades, in other words put in some effort, it the whiners who started the threat that make the term "welfare epics" actaully have meaning. 2) if the above in not in place. Honor gains by pre mades are diminished by the number of people in the pre made. (example a 10 maid premade in WSG get it battle honor reduced by 50%) and it honor for honor kills reduced by 70%) when facing a 100% pug foe. The penalty would of course be reduce if the opposing force had pre made componenets itself. 3) or remove premades all togther, put everyone one an even footing and wacth the queues get shortere since the matches are x random toons vs x random toons

of course I think areana should be done the last way, no preset teams, just sign up for a bracket, you get randomly picked partners and go for it. it eleiminates all teh spot selling, and team selling and most other forms of cheating. it eleiminate team rating which means little anyway, and leaves only a personal rating, and to be the best it forces you to be teh best with all other classes as partners not just a specific few.

Inspecting across factions, let's all hold hands now {WoW}

Mar 27th 2008 10:02AM In other words the new inspect, is usable only on PvE server and totally useless and PvP server.

As to cross faction rep and grouping, I would love it. I have BE pally i bascily had to abbondon when the guild i was with with blew sky high and now run with an allianace guild. I would love to be able to bring my BE over and play with my alliance friends.

Breakfast Topic: Should there be honor in PvP? {WoW}

Mar 25th 2008 1:17PM ah yes another 12 year old who get bullied on the street every time he leaves the basement, so has to turn around and bully others and ruin the game for them. and thus the cycle continues. Becaus ethe 12 year old are to stupid to see what they are doing

Breakfast Topic: Should there be honor in PvP? {WoW}

Mar 25th 2008 11:34AM taunting after killing is by definition a dishonorable action. If you want to taunt do it before you fight like a real warrior,

Breakfast Topic: Should there be honor in PvP? {WoW}

Mar 25th 2008 11:33AM aww, leave Voggz alone, He cant help that he he is a 12 year who never get out of his basement, because every time he does the local bullies stomp him into the ground. Of course he has no concept of honor or fair play, he has never actually scene it, and like the Bullies on the corner it makes him feel like a big man to kill people who cant fight back. Of course in reality it make him no better than the bullies he despises so much.

Breakfast Topic: The price of flight {WoW}

Mar 21st 2008 10:36AM Does the cost of an epic flier encourage gold buying? absolutely.

It all a matter of why people play the game. For some its the staus of having the mount (usually all done out in PVP epics).
For some it about maximizing return on time. But fro most I suspect it purely about having fun. The epic flier allows them more fun in the limited time the have to play, and the grind to build the gold reserves simply is not for for them.

when you have job the demands 60 hours a week as many salary jobs do, a family that requires there time too, and you end up playing a coupe hours at a time 2 or 3 nights a week, spending al the time grinding make wow just a second job and burn out and quiting playing real fast. During the few hours he has on, he want to run instances with his friends, maybe run a queat or two for gear or rep. The epic lets him do much more of that and waste for less of his limited time in transit. And so he spends what to him seems a small amount of real cash on the insanely large (to him) amount of gold for the simple purpose of maximizing the amount of fun he can have.

If i wanted to buy the gold i know the amount for an epic is well with in my standard entertainment budgest, and gives long lasting enjoyment rather than say going out the a fancy dinner fo the same cost.

Drysc reveals more about season 4 personal rating changes {WoW}

Mar 20th 2008 11:10AM I hate arena, i have hated arena from day one and i will always hate arena. They are called welfare epic because that is exactly what they are , You get rewarded for failing, time after time after time. You get rewarded fro cheating Time after Time after time.

Force arena to be based on winning rather than loosing and it might be a viable thing. Arena rating is fine, it will determine how many points the winning side gets base on the differance in the ratings. The loosing side get NOTHING!
Now people actually have to put in work for those epics.

But that will never happen as PvE get sent more and more the th back burner. Up till now If one wanted they could choose a PvE server and never do PvP. But with Wraith and entire zone will auto flag you for PVP even on a PvE server.

WOW is quickly becoming all about 12 year olds with ego problems and it will kill the game.

Breakfast Topic: Easy Mode {WoW}

Mar 20th 2008 10:45AM Sir, the issue you have is that many Hunters really are that bad due to having it so easy while leveling, they really do not understand the game or the total abilities of there class.

However if they will give a good hunter a chance to show off, they will find that any spec can have great utility to the raid. BM = massive dps and raid damage boost even through many boss special effects, MM = silence and attack power for the raid , Survival = the most versitle CC in the game.
