Sep 10th 2008 3:46PM I kind of find it amusing how they add materials like Thorium and Cobalt in the game. In real life, thorium and cobalt are both radioactive materals. And we're running around with our bags full of them O_o

Apr 9th 2008 8:34AM Definitely the gathering daily, "Gaining the Advantage". The one where you have to collect Nether Residues from mines/herbs/skinning. Since I'm a miner, there are days when it takes me hours upon hours of looking and mining for eight of these to drop, only to eventually give up. The drop rate is terrible.

2.4 leaves hunters low on mana {WoW}

Mar 28th 2008 3:15AM VSUReaper, I pray that you have a level 70 Hunter. If not, then you know nothing and your ranting of the Hunter class in invalid. But, maybe you're right; providing DPS without over aggroing, managing our pets, protecting the healers (didn't think we did that right?), managing our CC'd targets, all at once takes no skill...

All classes take no skill to play, even your little priests there. At the same time, all classes take skill TO BE GOOD AT. I can hope on my friend's 70 Paladin (which I do not/ever had) and play it and be okay. But, I guarantee I won't be good at it due to my inexperience.

I haven't played my Hunter since 2.4 release much at all, but apparently we are going to have to lower our apparent "uber-OP DPS" (that people apparently claim), to stack intellect. I have had issues with mana pre-BC, but with my Hunter's addiction to Fel-Mana pots, looks like I'll be continuing my Pot-a-holic habits.

Shaman and item changes in 2.3.2 {WoW}

Dec 7th 2007 12:01AM The reason we (the Hunters) got the Arcane Shot-Dispel, Aimed Shot-MS, and Deadzone removal was to make us more viable in PvP. Now, there are a lot of Hunters the demolished others in PvP before these changes. But at the same time, most Hunters were nothing but free kills in the arenas for most teams.

A Hunter could do NOTHING against a Resto Shaman before 2.3, nothing except waste our ammo and mana. Now that we have abilities that counter Shamans, they cry 'Nerf!'.

Before 2.3, how many teams, SERIOUSLY had issues with Hunters? Pretty much none at all. Pillar-dancing and deadzone exploitation were the counters to Hunters and its been fixed, allowing us a spot in high-rated teams. You NEVER saw any teams at all looking for a Hunter, now we are viable in at least 5v5s, maybe even wanted. Sorry for getting a buff to be able to actually kill a Shaman.
