May 1st 2010 1:50AM Go then and play AoC, dude ;)
Apr 24th 2010 7:14AM Dunno, I'm still fond of LotRO's graphics
Apr 21st 2010 12:46PM Bittersweet a bit; but nice move, anyway
Apr 15th 2010 4:58AM Proof of the pudding is in the eating, but it sounds fun for sure.
For those who think a 24 vs 24 set is "ridiculous": why it would be per se? Do you think that the usual 4 warbands vs. 1.5 warbands zergfests, imbalanced sides, and unstable instances are so damn cool?
Apr 13th 2010 12:40PM Well, you are right... partially, and I apologize... partially.
Since an 'official' disclaimer in my book (but maybe I'm alone with this) talks to the community as a whole, on the main website and in a really, REALLY 'offical' form, such as a Producer-in-Charge's Letter or whatnot.
Because if I have to mine in the deep of plenty of angry forum threads for some information, it suggests that the company doesn't care to share with me as a custommer the exact state of things
Apr 13th 2010 12:09PM These are exact thoughts either...
Apr 13th 2010 12:07PM "that being said someone said there was no update from mythic, "Since Friday" that is a lie, there were constant Mythic employees in the forums keeping people up to date and answering their questions."
Could you show me a link where I can read these official updates since Friday, please? Because I cannot find anywhere here, though you consider me as a liar, and apparently I'm a moron as well:
If you can give me any proof, I will apologize instantly to everyone for my "lie"; in every other case I'll take your accusation as an act of a simple minded fanboi who doesn't deserve bothering with.
And, yes, I am a WAR player, if it does matter.
Apr 13th 2010 9:40AM It's definitely a dishearthening fiasco, to say the least... there are plenty of angry discussions on US WAR-forums since Thursday, and it has not been sorted out yet...
Moreover, there is not any 'official' disclaimer since Friday, which is, imo, a huge mistake by Mythic communication-wise, even though a third party vendor was responsible... Shit happens, and I really like WAR, but this is totally unacceptable at all, so they MUST give some compensation for sure...
Apr 1st 2010 3:46AM I can agree, of course, that many more "voted" as well. Which doesn't mean that it gives you (or anyone) a right to suggest "people should stop paying Mythic for that crap". Such mantras like "millions cannot be wrong", or "numbers speak for themselves" and so on are nothing more than a way of rhetoric to support one's *own* (personal) opinion with making it looks like more well-based despite that is still based on an opinion of his own.
What "everyone" thinks to be true, is still not necessarily true. Or even can be completely "wrong".
*My opinion* is that the game is way better now than many think. You can argue it, but you cannot suggest that I should stop thinking that.
