Blizzard plans Latin American WoW {WoW}

Mar 27th 2008 4:41PM @Thaelus:
I never wrote Brazil is not in Latin America. Brazil is in Latin America AND South America is what I wrote. I also wrote that Latin America is not South America. Latin America is Central and South America + Mexico, if your geography fails.

I'm sure you'll read it again. While that, could you explain further your comment?

Blizzard plans Latin American WoW {WoW}

Mar 27th 2008 3:57PM Well, don't we all live in forests and play with monkeys? Aren't Brazil's capital Rio de Janeiro? Or would it be Buenos Aires? Isn't Portuguese a different version of Spanish?

I hear all above, all the time. It's nice I can at least make fun of it here :)

Mar 27th 2008 3:53PM Offtopic, pt-BR: Wowzeiros? Gezuis. Aliança? Não, obrigado :)

Mar 27th 2008 3:49PM En: I know it's offtopic, but why Warsong? I can't bare the server's environment. It's pure trash, all the time being called names and it's PVP, not exactly my play style. What is the problem with brazilians in playing in another server, not-PVP one? I play at Blackhand-US btw, get on and say hi :)

Mar 27th 2008 3:43PM I confess that I'm ultimatelly happy with this news. Happy is not enough, but I don't know another word to be more than that.

Yes there is Brazil. Brazilians talk in portugues which is not spanish (and it's not a variation and no, they are not close). Brazil has more people than the entire South America together but then Latin America is not South America. Latin America includes Mexico, Argentina, and well, all around spanish speakers.

I'm happy that a spanish version is coming, even if my language is not there and for that I'd prefer it to be in english still - if it comes only in spanish I'll change my mpqs to my good and old english version, sorry Blizzard. Why? Well, after more than 3 years you want to suck up a language I don't know at all and call it my home language? In that way, I prefer english if you don't mind :)

Again and nevertheless, I'm happy for this and can't wait to come. Hoping for free transfers if that's not ask much.

Breakfast Topic: Spell pushback {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 8:14PM ops it was for Kiriy
--------------------

And the point click I mentioned, as you'll soon realize when you actually play those kind of characters is that this cat and mouse fight ends because all those point and click abilities are expensive on mana and if you didn't get me because of a frost nova, that's the only reason. If you didn't buy a fear trinket, you're being naive, and after the first attempt to fear, you'll be next to me (warlock/priest).

Meanwhile what I did to hurt you? Nothing, I tried to keep distance. Maybe 1 DOT if a fear finally reached (and you are not a rogue with cloak of shadows!). All this work just to maintain you away, without time to do a thing. But when you finally reached me (which isn't that hard, depends on my diminishing returns) I'm over. Of course, that seems fair to you.

Now play something different? Go to the other side.

Breakfast Topic: Spell pushback {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 8:07PM @Kirky

When a priest use Psychic Scream the only thing he can hope is that the target doesn't have a trinket or Will of the Forsaken. If the target have, there is nothing more to keep him away: or didn't you know that?

Shield? Cooldown - 2 hits it's over. Psyschic Scream? 30s Cooldown SPECED - Nothing to do about it really. Any other? For a Discipline Priest, there is Pain Suppresion, which is great and if you speced right you can heal along with 70% less pushbacks on heals. But only if you're not interrupted because the melee target will be hitting your face every freaking time! How cool is that?

I can't do more but just LOL at you. Play a priest and learn Psychic Scream mechanincs then come to comment. And I don't care if it's your period, don't troll my comments just because. As you can see I'm not the only one with that point of view.

Two Bosses Enter: Sapphiron vs Kel'thuzad {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 2:09AM Hard fight indeed.

I voted on Kel'Thuzad only because I believe he has more knowledge on undead that his guardian - althou the guardian is "just" a dragon (and now lich). Kel'Thuzad was a former Lich King's partner thou and knows a lot about this lifestyle.

I'm sure that even almost loosing, Kel would make something up. It's just not possible that a creature like him, even knowing how to be resurectable (war3 lore) could loose that.

Player versus NPC health {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 1:52AM Since AoE got nerfed, I really envy some tanks making their way to solo instances. I wish I wouldnt have to make so less now with my mage as I still have pushback from a lv1 mob and my aoe gets to nowhere - not even counting that from my mana.

Breakfast Topic: Spell pushback {WoW}

Mar 24th 2008 1:26AM You were writting fair until you compared players to NPC. Just remember, those blood elves you are concerning do not have spell pushback.

That's hard right?

I agree! Make it alike in PVP! Diminishing returns for spell pushback (just THAT cast, not all, not adding!) is the best option I see for now. I'll not be overpower and no caster like to stay close to melee - it's just to get ONE and just ONE spell out. How much it takes for you to charge or MS a clothie? A click?
