Apr 4th 2012 1:52PM Sounds like it will be a permanent thing. I expect there to be an monthly fee around $5 a month (in addition to the $15/month). Two realms: level 85, level 90. The level 85 will probably be removed sometime after the expansion release, but it will stick around a little bit for people that don't buy the expansion.
Mar 30th 2012 4:33PM Last Blizzard said, not all pets would be used in Pet Battles. I'm pretty sure only the Pet Battle pets are account wide, so I assume some pets will not be account wide. Only Blizzard has an idea which pets those would be though. Just have wait and see.

If you go through the yes/no stuff:
No special circumstances. (the first page)
Not a dependent.
Gross income less than $9,500.
"Based on the information provided, you do not need to file a Federal Income Tax return for this year unless you need to receive a refund of payments already made."
Mar 25th 2012 12:27AM One thing that might be better for low levels is a reduced rage cost on Heroic Strike. It could be something like 5 rage at level 1 that slowly gets up to 30 rage by level 30. So at the start, you always have rage to do something, but Heroic Strike is balanced as you gain new levels and abilities.
Mar 16th 2012 5:20PM Yeah, I think the author missed that part of the letter. I think this was the real question: Can a company (Blizzard) change the language of an agreement later on and grandfather the new words to people who signed the agreement before the changes?
Mar 16th 2012 5:12PM It's a gray area, so no one knows for sure. I definitely think you do need to report it if you are cashing out and putting it in your bank account. That is income like any other. If that is your only income, I don't think you would have to report it. You won't make enough money through that to pay taxes.
The IRS says you are only required to file taxes if make over $9,500 or something around that. If you have other sources of income though, you definitely could be over that dollar amount. If your regular salary is $25,000 and you make $1000 from Diablo 3, that has to be reported.
I know there are exceptions for things like garage sales where you don't have to report it if under a certain amount. I don't know if that would apply to Diablo 3 trades/auction house.
Feb 29th 2012 3:12PM As long as the guild has achieved its progression goals, I think it's perfectly okay for people to take a break from the game. Playing year round is a sure way to burnout. If that burnout happens during the launch of a new expansion, your guild is pretty much done. Better to let everyone get refreshed before the expansion is out. Some players are perfectly fine playing year round, but a lot of people need that break.
Feb 28th 2012 4:17PM We still may not get any information for a little while after. Blizzard had a press embargo on the Diablo 3 press event, which prevented fansites from announcing the beta until Blizzard did it formally on their official sites.
Feb 22nd 2012 4:04PM Pre-buffing sounds nice. My Shadow Priest has around 5 buffs I have to apply every time.
I think there is still a place for the big battlegrounds. More small-scale battlegrounds would be nice but keep a few big ones for variety.
Feb 16th 2012 4:31PM As Horde, my biggest problem is having a healer to protect in the first place. =) There just aren't a lot of Horde healers in battlegrounds. Maybe Horde players are too independent.
