Spiritual Guidance: Shield questions answered {WoW}

May 25th 2009 12:56PM Matt,
I appreciate your columns but am really hoping that you will start including information for Holy specs as well....otherwise I think you might want to rename the column title to be something more representative of the content...

I appreciate the Disc spec but would love to hear more about Holy...
Thanks,
Roger

WoW Insider Show live today on Ustream {WoW}

May 9th 2009 5:30PM The Ustream feed was borked for me on 2 computers (Windows 7 and Mac OS X with multiple browsers...I have listened may times on these same computers with no issues....I tried several other Ustream feeds and they came through just fine....

funny thing was on one of the computers I left a web page open to the stream and exactly as the after show started I was able to hear so either it was a capacity issue with the server or there was some feed setting that changed.....my best guess....

Really frustrating to arrange my day so I would be in the office to listen to the show and get denied....

Mana regeneration changing dramatically in 3.1 {WoW}

Feb 5th 2009 4:45PM I raid as a holy priest mainly Naxx 10 mans with my guild. One of the things that excited me the most in WotLK was the promise of 10 man raids. I am concerned that the effect on smaller guilds trying to take 2 tanks/2 healers/6 dps for most fights is gonna become too darn hard and that we will have to go with 3 healers which honestly we don't have right now (several people are leveling alts...).

My guild just cleared Naxx for the first time this week and my gear is reasonable (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dragonblight&n=Rogerwilco) and I think my guildies are decent players but I constantly struggle with going OOM in most fights especially when we don't take a class with replenishment.... I am willing to accept that I could be better with juggling O5SR and being more efficient with my overhealing but I don't need it to be much more difficult or the healing I love today becomes a chore and I burnout.....

My personal experience is that going OOM in 25 man fights has been way less problematic for me....

TLDR: don't make 10 man raiding any harder.....it's already harder than 25 mans

Oracles or the Frenzyheart, which did you choose? {WoW}

Jan 8th 2009 11:08AM On my holy paladin I went for Frenzyheart for the revered plate items with the intention to switch to Oracles once I upgraded those items through heroics and Naxx runs. On my priest I went straight to the Oracles....

Activision-Blizzard September results reveals box sales paradigm {WoW}

Nov 6th 2008 5:03PM Another detail I can add (based on working for a major software company that sells retail box product ....) - if you add major featuers/content after the initial release of the product you are forced to choose the subscription revenue model. This is one of the reasons software developers don't add major new features to popular software product without thinking about the accounting impact on the financial statements....

Breakfast Topic: Braiiins for breakfast? {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 10:47AM I am the killjoy - I transferred to a PVE server to get away from retards that want to interrupt my progress on leveling, raiding etc.

I was leveling my priest alt in STV yesterday and it was frustrating to have the quest npcs and flight masters dead for 10 minutes... First time I actually got mad at other players even though I leveled 3 70's on pvp servers and was ganked my fair share...

Put me in the camp of people that would like to see less impact on people trying to accomplish something in the 2+ weeks before Wrath arrives....
