Nov 11th 2009 10:18PM Would love to win a headset, please!
Oct 28th 2009 1:53PM To my knowledge you will roll greed. That way if its an upgrade for you and none of the mail class wearers need it (for a mail piece), you win it. However if no one needs OR greed, it goes to 'roll for D/E'
Oct 7th 2009 6:18PM Would love to win! Crossing my fingers!
Sep 16th 2009 1:29PM Just as a heads up I believe there is no rating requirement for the deadly relic/libram/idol. I bring this up because as a holy paladin I was thrilled to pick up the only libram at level 80 that affects my FoL instead of HL without worrying about an arena ranking :)
Feb 24th 2009 8:24PM Just to make sure I'm not really confused, Glyph of Lay on Hands would be down to 11 minutes, not 9, right?
Still a fairly nice glyph. I will be making some hard decisions come 3.1 for my Holy PvE glyphs.
Feb 18th 2009 7:45PM My logic goes as follows:
They took away chain-potting.
They took away multiple ranks of heal spells.
Therefore there is only 2-3 ways you can heal on a paladin. (HS,HL,FoL)
Not to toot my own horn, but I consider myself a fairly good holy pally.
Plus I tend to be fairly well geared.
There will be other paladins out there that are not so good.
And not so well geared.
These not so good paladins will be buffed so they can at least heal competently.
Which will make my healing amazing.
Ergo, I will probably continue to heal with little to no worry.
Okay maybe I'm being a bit naive but...I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Feb 15th 2009 4:12PM This.
Trust me, I love hanging out with my guildies, I love talking with them on vent but instead of doing that all day when I get home from work I tend to visit in small amounts. Hop on for Arena. Hop on for raiding. Hop on for some battlegrounds or random quests that I haven't finished.
My guild was complaining about lack of things to do and I was right along with them until I realized i could step away and do other things. I'm not exaggerating, I've lost 10 pounds because I go jogging instead of playing every night.
Wrath is the best thing that has ever happened for my health.
Feb 8th 2009 9:31PM Its a great ability. An AMAZING ability in fact. The thing that boggles my mind is...why a minute cooldown? I think I would be sad if I saw it bump up to 2 minutes or 3 but I would accept that as reasonable.
In the end, whatever they decide I will adapt and move on but...
4 piece T7.5 bonus
Libram of Renewal
Lay on Hand glyphs
Seal of Wisdom glyph
60% mana back on crit
...add on top of that the replenishment and the health to mana buff paladins receive from the raid?
Its going to take a LOT to stop me from HL spamming and I have the feeling they either wont nerf enough or we will be nerfed so hard that all paladins will spec...well something else :)
Jan 24th 2009 8:09PM Depending on your gear level, from a holy paladin perspective, I've been doing the following for 10 man. 25 man...yeah this doesn't work so well, but for 10 man I like it :)
Cast Beacon of Light on myself
Holy Light/FoL/ keep the main tank alive
Holy Shock anyone else that is getting low
Unless multiple blizzards are stacked up on you, just stand in the blizzard and continue healing. Since the MT was taking larger hits then myself in the blizzard, Beacon was amazingly effective
Remember to recast beacon once phase 2 ends
WOTLK has made us paladins not have to worry too much about mana with divine plea and if you are a jewelcrafter you have an amazing trinket, great gems to compliment that. If you are horde, make sure to use arcane torrent every 2 minutes for 6% of your total mana back, etc.
