Sep 10th 2010 3:43PM Holdfast, my Tauren tank, has collected the entire Shadowcraft set. He always wanted to be a rogue.
The hardest part was actually the stupid shoulders. I think I killed Willey twenty or thirty times.
Nov 17th 2009 12:12PM Have some of the heroic instance bosses been tweaked lately, or am I just really confused? I did the second boss in DTK last week, and for the first time I noticed that he was summoning adds. Likewise the rock boss in Nexus was rooting people and adds were running around as well.
I'm finally gearing up my tank, and it's possible that I didn't notice these things when I was healing or dps'ing, but that'd really surprise me.
Finally, I was doing a regular HoL last night, and ten of those stupid statues came to life at the same time in the hallway before the whirlwind / Dispersing! boss, which was worse then even the old Shattered Halls runs.
Jul 29th 2009 10:23AM He was in my Kara raids for a bit during BC. It was tough being the witty and clever one knowing he was listening on vent. Also, my friends (who all loved the brunching shuttlecocks) were incredibly envious.
Jul 17th 2009 1:25PM Really? Yes, real life trumps gaming, but only as far as planning / scheduling go. So, all these other _real_ people don't count just because you can't see them? Making them wait indefinite amounts of time for you is an acceptable way to treat them?
So, instead of online, say it's your regular basketball game with friends. Are you saying it'd be alright to stop playing when your phone rings, and to walk off, and make them wait for half an hour while you talk to someone else? Are people less real in the game simply because you can't see them?
Yes, it's a game, but the people you play with are still people, and deserve your consideration for their time. With an attitude like that, I can't imagine that you're on my friends lists when people are looking for groups or raids.
Jul 2nd 2009 10:43AM In my 10 man raid, when we start our DK tank takes the big guy, our warrior tank takes the medium guy, and we just ignore the small guy. When the big guy dies, the DK takes the medium guy, and the warrior takes the small guy.
Stormcaller's chain lightning is easily healer through, and it lets us keep all our healers with the main group, which is nice.
Jun 29th 2009 10:21AM I'm a raid priest (through Hodir in 10 man) thinking about PvPing again for the first time since WotLK came out. Needless to say, I have nice raid gear, but no pvp gear. I'm using my second spec for survival disc, but how do I get decent gear? I bought the badge blues, but how do I upgrade them? Is it true that I need to arena to get any pvp purps? Also, what's a good minimum level of resilience for a disc priest?
Jan 29th 2008 2:02PM Before BC, it was a new tanking hat. Neither Ony nor Garr (I think that was who it was) would drop their warrior helms. I'd been doing MC for over a year, and had 7/8 might for months.
On the _last_ guild run through MC before it broke down due to the expansion, it finally dropped. I got to wear the set for about three weeks before I started replacing parts. I've still got the entire set in the bank.
Nowdays? Moroes won't drop that freakin' watch. It's driving me crazy.
