Jun 29th 2010 10:28AM Ah ha, someone finally reads between the lines and doens't judge the news by WotLK rules. Gj.
Jun 17th 2010 11:17AM There used to be a global lfg many moons ago. It didn't end well nor last very long. It was as if the entire world had become the Barrens, and trolling reached new, unseen heights.
May 13th 2010 11:09AM I don't know if it's coincidence or what, but every time I've had a hordie do something nice its been a tauren. I remember doing that quest in westfall with the elite at the top of the southern tower and nearly dying until a tauren warrior came, 1 shot the mob, /patted me and left. There was a similar time in Terrokar when I tried to do the quest with all the poisoned druids. Again, I almost died but then here comes a friendly tauren shaman to save the day.
Maybe the starter quests for moocows gives them good values. Not like the forsaken's "death to everything!" schtick.
Apr 20th 2010 4:04PM "That's the difference between a dog and a Gilnean. We will bite down on the forsaken war machine and chew until long after it provides us sustenance or entertainment. Because it's good for us."
That's just perfect; by far the most bad-ass thing I've read this week. It's on the same level as Day of The Dead's "...Choke on it!!..."

Feb 2nd 2009 1:25PM Quote: "That reminds me, the only downside I can think of as a Forsaken rogue is: would you stink really bad? Would anyone you spy on always wonder where that rotting stench is coming from?"
The smells and even the process of decomposition are the result of rampant bacterial growth eating flesh in the absence of an immune system to fight them off. I would imagine there's something working inside the body of an Undead that carries out the same function as an immune system, since they don't seem to rot away to dust over time (or bacteria are unable to feed on undead flesh). So in all likelyhood, the Undead probably smell much better than the living.

Jan 28th 2009 2:28PM Its not inefficient, its a common programming problem-solving approach. If you think a number is too high, you reduce it by 50%. If the result seems too low, increase it by 50% of its new value; too high, reduce it by 50%. This approach reduces the probability space of the "right" value by half each step, and is known to be the best way to arrive at an unknown value from an arbitrary starting point.
It's known as a binary search:

"Telling it like it is" and "keeping it real" is an a-hole's excuse. There's never a valid reason to be a rude clod when communicating with people, least of all when you're representing a multi-million dollar company. GC didn't mean to insult hunters, and he often goes out of his way to make sure his comments are well-spoken, but to think a nerf announcement deserved only a few words in a midday forum post was short-sighted on his part.
Dec 5th 2008 1:45PM That could be because its the same model as the one you use in the quest, which gets scaled by 2/3 when you are in the hyldnir form (like other mounts).
Nov 19th 2008 2:19PM Well obviously druids are getting:
