Launcher updated again, 3.0.2 soon? {WoW}

Sep 30th 2008 12:43PM I'm pretty sure Death Knights at 55 are part of the load-balancing strategy, anyway. Not only are they splitting the Northrend newcomers into two zones, a big chunk of each realm's population will be in the Death Knight starter zone and then Outland for a while, leveling their Death Knights. By the time the Death Knights are in Borean Tundra or Howling Fjord, the rest of the population should be spread over the rest of Northrend. Seems like a good plan to avoid the Hellfire Peninsula train wreck from Burning Crusade's release.

Sep 18th 2008 5:34PM Actually, if Lava Lash hits for a percentage of weapon damage, that means they're still encouraging slow/slow, they're just not encouraging WF/WF anymore. At least, not necessarily.

Jul 25th 2008 5:10PM And enhancement shamans will get 1 AP from Str and 1 AP from Agi now, plus there's an int->AP talent in Enhancement, so theoretically hunter mail will be fine. So you're correct in saying Blizzard won't be making any mail with +Str, but it shouldn't matter in Wrath.

Jul 25th 2008 5:08PM Rumor has it the hit cap is being reduced to 9%, in line with melee specials. Also note that with the advent of spellpower, there won't be "elemental mail" anyway, just spellpower/mana5/crit mail, which will be good for both resto and elemental. You'll probably get your hit from jewelry, cloaks, trinkets and weapons.

Mar 18th 2008 1:29PM Your job in a raid is to keep Unleashed Rage and Windfury up. Enhancement damage is good, but the real reason you're there is to help the warriors and rogues you should be grouped with. The 3% hit talent in Resto gets you closer to that optimal 100% uptime on Unleashed Rage, and I'm pretty sure it's actually a bigger personal DPS increase than what you get for your shocks from Elemental.

Also, don't gear for hit. 300 hit rating is way too much.

And, um, try using capitalization and punctuation once in a while.
