Jun 25th 2010 12:16AM I burnt on raiding too. The funny thing is that before I raided I was okay being casual and just getting on to level an alt. I would do some pvp, some dailies, whatever I happened to feel like for that day.
After raiding...it seems like if I'm not raiding, why should I play. I almost wish I'd never raided, maybe I'd still love the game.

Jan 26th 2008 12:31PM I've only been doing battlegrounds about a month now. When I started out I was really discourages because I kept getting one (or two) shotted. I'm a healer, so it was even worse...I was kind of a walking disposable healing machine.
As I've played more and gotten now 4 pieces of resilience gear it has done wonders. I'm only at like 137 resil, but I don't get one shotted anymore. True, I can't survive focus fire, but that's another story.
So start out with a couple of resilience gems or maybe the Felsteel ring...it's not a lot but with help.
And whether you know it or not getting 1 shotted actually helps you in skill...it teaches you that you have to fight together, or you'll just get creamed. Even the guys with 400 resil in Vengeful remember that rule, because they started out where you did.
