Jan 5th 2011 4:45PM If we're going to complain about some gear slots being unattainable - let's look at plate dps bracers available pre-raid.
Can they be purchased with justice or valor points? No.
Are there any available from reputation vendors? No.
Can any be crafted? Only pvp ones, sorry.
Are there any quest rewards? Green-quality only.
Sooo, there's ONE dungeon that offers a blue plate dps bracer - I think it's the third boss in Blackrock Caverns heroic. Obviously the version of them on normal is worse, and you can't queue for normal BRC via LFD once you've reached 85 anyway.
