Breakfast Topic: I love {WoW}

Sep 14th 2009 11:07AM I love the extremely gratifying noise and light animation of learning a new non-combat pet on my Pet Collector. I'm slowly working my way up to the very adorable Little Fawn and every pet is just one more tick in that belt, so to speak. It's exciting to find the pets, farm them, get them to drop, buy them or hell - even be given them. Clicking the little learn button is always exciting and fulfilling.

Breakfast Topic: Have you ever actually met a GM in-game? {WoW}

Jun 7th 2009 5:39PM

I was leveling up my fishing on my mage in Azshara (because there was nobody around to pester me and it's kind of pretty!) and ticketed a GM about an enchant I had on my helm. Turned into a 45 minute conversation and him keeping me company while I leveled. =D

Breakfast Topic: Dual specs {WoW}

Feb 17th 2009 8:24AM Priest: discipline/shadow
Mage: ffb/frost or arcane (for pvp)
Paladin: prot/holy (probably, when she hits 80. This'll be more useful because my friends are usually either looking for a tank OR a healer).

Patch 3.0.8 bug roundup {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 2:04AM There also seems to be a problem with Arcane Blast (the mage spell) where the debuff can be dispelled. A friend of mine was using it earlier in HoS and I kept thinking he was being hit by something, then I stopped and watched it and it was me being able to dispel his debuff. Very strange thing.

Breakfast topic: Bunk in my trunk {WoW}

The Azeroth Ethicist: Why (or why not) to take a player {WoW}

Dec 27th 2008 12:52PM You know, in Outland it didn't seem like this whole thing was an issue. I don't ever remember runs being held up because so-and-so priest didn't want another caster/clothie. Is it because of the gear itemization changes?

Personally, I usually run my heroics with the same set of 5 people, more or less. We're all friends, so we know what we all need and want. It's our DK tank, a rogue, a hunter, a mage and myself. We seem to be a really good balance, but yeah - I have "lost" gear to the mage. I guess I don't consider any drops "my" gear until I win it. Maybe that's where the frustration lies? I've noticed a lot of people running regulars/heroics say they're waiting for "My" mace to drop or "My" pants to drop. Maybe if they stopped thinking that it was theirs until they won the roll, they wouldn't be disappointed if they lost it. :P
